Mauve stood back as Louis pulled the door to the roof open for her. She mumbled her thanks and walked out the door leading to the roof.
She squinted as she got to the top of the roof. Her eyes were having a hard time adjusting to the darkness and she realized it was a bad idea to come here without any source of light.
However, she didn't really need it. Her goal wasn't to weed out any unwanted plants rather it was just to see her garden. Also, according to a certain person she couldn't do more than that.
"Don't you need some sort of light?" Louis asked.
She slowly shook her head as she walked forward knowing he was behind her because of how close his voice sounded but not being able to hear a single footstep.
"I won't be doing anything, so it's fine. Besides," she spun, facing him just before she got to the plants. "I need to have a word with you."
