Jael stopped in front of a door and Damon threw it open. Jael walked in and Damon stood by the door unsure whether to walk in or not.
"Leave the bags by the door and shut the door close," Jael said and Damon simply nodded and did as Jael requested. The sound of the door closing echoed in the room. She was still in Jael's arms.
"You can drop me now," she blurted, glaring at him.
"Hmm," he said and carefully dropped her to her feet.
She dropped to the ground and took off the boots. Wondering what the purpose for them had been. She immediately stood to her feet, her bare feet wiggling on the carpet, she had taken off the socks, they felt a little constricting.
She took off the scarf around her neck. The room was warmer than outside and there was no need for the scarf anymore. The room was similar to the size of her own room back in the castle.
