Logan had been missing for a few days, enough to make Cleo worry about his whereabouts. He was no stranger to going missing for some extent of time, but he usually checked in with the clan at least.
Currently, she was trying to sort through jobs and get certain clan members on them. It wasn’t an easy career choice, but it was one nonetheless. There were only so many jobs that people like them could do
Cleo had lost her faith in humanity well before being turned into the monster that she was. Spending a lifetime being witch hunted and trialed for witchcraft was enough to make her realize how irrational mortals could be.
She sighed and hit a stack of papers on the table, evening them out and putting them in line. The realization that putting the disarrayed papers into a single stack was similar to her putting her disorganized army into neat rows.
She loved her clan, and each member was like family to her when she didn’t have anyone else.
