***Past Last Chapter***
THIRD PERSON’S POV
Rudina was confused by what her mother had stated. She took her mother’s hand in hers and looked her in the eyes. “You don’t have to apologize, mother; I understand,” she murmured, wiping her tears away.
“I know I have many mistakes and faults with you, but I am just doing this for your sake,” she added, her voice strained.
Thavon only caught a glimpse of her daughter and his ex-wife. “Aren’t you going, to tell the truth to Rudina?” asked her sister Thana, who was by his side watching the two.
Thavon sighed, and then he grabbed his cany and looked at Thana. “She can’t find out yet,” he replied.
“But you know the possible consequences of that, brother,” Thana reminded him.
Thana knows what kind of condition Rieka has, and now, she knows that when she loses herself, she may have many perversions that will cause Rudina to hate wolves a lot. Especially now when they are looking for Rieka because of the ones she killed. Rudina gave her mother medicine to heal her wounds. As they watched the two, Thana couldn’t help but worry.
While Davon was walking in the hallway, he couldn’t help but think of Rudina anyway; he had to do his mission, which was to imprison the princess in a book that would be her temporary prison. He knows what can happen because the king entrusted his daughter to him.
When he reached Rudina’s room, he stopped when he saw Farkas outside the door of Rudina’s room. “What are you doing here?” Farkas asked Davon.
“Aren’t you the one I should be asking? What are you doing here?” he asked back to him.
Farkas smirked at her behavior, then looked at him, annoyed. “I know you’re hiding something from Rudina, and I know you won’t do something right,” he said in a serious tone.
Davon didn’t speak and was about to approach Rudina’s door, but he suddenly stopped him because of what Farkas did. Both eyebrows were raised, and Farkas looked at Davon from head to toe. “You don’t have to worry, Farkas,” he said, then gently pushed Farkas, after which he opened the door and entered the woman’s room.
When he entered, Rudina looked at him, then he suddenly rushed to Davon, and immediately Davon prepared himself, crossed both arms, and looked Rudina in the eyes. Farkas, on the other hand, was just looking at what was happening and did not blame Rudina for what she did to Davon. Instead, he was even happy with what he witnessed.
While watching the two, Davon couldn’t help but be hurt by what Rudina did because she was twice as strong as him. He knows what the girl is capable of, and he knows how to fight with her own strength. While looking into Rudina’s eyes, he couldn’t help but be afraid and worried.
“Rudina, enough,” he said in a whisper.
“What do you know about me and my mother’s condition?” she asked. “What do you know that Farkas also knows? What are you hiding from me!?” she shouted, then turned to where Farkas was.
He was about to run when Rudina moved quickly, and he didn’t even leave his seat because he went through the other door to the balcony. He looked at Rudina. She looked different now. He was serious about what she was going to do to him, and he made her swallow his own saliva.
“R-Rudina… c-calm down,” he said, then held her hand.
“What do you know?” she asked.
“N-nothing... I-I don’t know,” he stammered, then he looked behind him to see Davon, who was about to hold Rudina, but she kicked him.
He couldn’t get close to Rudina because of that, and he hasn’t been able to get close enough. It was difficult for the two to fight and stop Rudina because of her strength and the strength of her feelings. Rudina wants to know the truth, and she just wants to take care of her mother, who guided her for a long time.
“Rudina.”
Rudina stopped what she was doing, and then she looked at her father, who was floating in front of her, and Thana was the same. Thavor pointed his hand at his daughter, then something wrapped around her body, making her struggle.
“What are you doing, father? Let me go!” she said, struggling.
“What you are doing is not appropriate, and you seem to forget the consequences of anger in your heart,” he said, and she looked at his father evilly.
“I won’t forget that thing, but I also can’t forgive those creatures for what they did to my mother!” she said angrily and seemed to be losing herself.
“This is what I’m telling you, brother!” Thana said.
“Then you’re all hiding something from me!”
“Rudina, you don’t understand,” she said, and then she looked at her aunt Thana.
“What I do not understand! How can I understand if you fools don’t make me understand!” she shouted angrily, and with what she did, Rudina suddenly escaped.
Farkas and Davon immediately ran, and Thana immediately took action. She looked at her brother, and when he nodded, she knew what she was going to do. Rudina can no longer be stopped from what she will do, especially since her mother is now weak, and because of what the other wolves did to her mother, she hates all of them.
Her mother’s suffering is the reason for her own weakening and loss of herself. Thana went to the room where Rieka was, and then opened the book she was holding. She looked at Rieka, and even though she felt sorry for her, she couldn’t just let it go, especially since it wasn’t her anymore.
“I’m sorry, Rieka. I know you’ve done a lot for Rudina, but this is the only way right now so that we don’t get worse, especially in the current situation,” she said, then began to recite the spell.
As Rudina headed towards the wolf pack, she couldn’t get her mother’s words out of her mind, especially after what happened to her. She knew that a lot had happened after she was gone for several years, and she knew that she couldn’t handle it alone. She had no one to lean on but herself. She stopped when she felt something around, and she knew that Farkas and Davon were following her.
She made a way to lead the two astray in the forest and also so that they could not follow her wherever she was going. She can no longer control herself, and only revenge is in her mind and heart. While Thana was detaining Rieka, even before she entered the book, Rieka had a request for Thana.
“I’m begging you to take care of Rudina. Don’t allow her to be hurt simply because she’s angry and wants vengeance; please, give her mental balance and forgiveness in her heart. I can’t stand to watch her suffer in the end,” she begged, to which Thana nodded and vowed to do what Rieka requested.
Thana returned her gaze to Thavon, who was staring out the window towards the forest, waiting for whatever could happen at any moment. “I told you before that nothing should come to this; her being a hybrid that is greater than you is one of the most hazardous reasons why Rieka wants to keep you away from Rudina; you knew what might happen all along, but you didn’t even do anything better, Thavon,” she warned her brother.
“It’s not because I let Rudina do what she’s doing that I’m not worried about the consequences of everything, Thana. Because this will also teach her what she can learn from what she is doing now; she may not be able to think about it right now, but there is a being who will make her realize and understand that thing. Not now, but I know at the right time.”
Thana simply sighed at what her brother stated before following Davon and Farkas, who were following Rudina. Rudina’s strategy worked, and she led the two astray. She will now go to the wolf pack to make them pay for their crime. She can’t get over what they did to her when she was younger, and she regrets helping them when they were traitors.
As she arrived, everyone instantly stopped what they were doing, and she gave them a peculiar smile that made all the wolves there fearful. A man walked in front of her and mistreated and worse, insulted her. She grabbed the man by the neck and flung him away as though he were trash in her eyes.
What occurred and what Rudina did stun everyone. The man promptly went up and altered his form before striking at her. She didn’t move after taking one glance at the man who was about to attack her, and the man didn’t even touch her when suddenly he got stuck. She only grinned at this, then raised her palm, and he was crushed like a soft item in an instant.
Everyone ran because of what had happened, and they had no idea what to do. Rudina didn’t hesitate any longer and went through with her plans. Daciana came during the chaos and was perplexed as to what was going on. She grabbed one of them and inquired as to what was going on, and she couldn’t believe what she told her.
“R-Rudina... she k-kills a-anyone who can touch her,” said the woman, still stammering.
She let go of the woman and dashed over to where her friend was. When she saw it, she seemed out of her mind, and she couldn’t believe that her friend could kill just like that. She has no idea what to do and is unable to move. As Rudina glanced at her, she gasped, and Rudina grinned.
“R-Rudina,” she mumbled to her friend.
“Daciana!” Aztecs exclaimed, who swiftly grabbed Daciana.
They evaded Rudina’s onslaught but were frightened by the impact. Daciana suddenly struggled, then got up and hurried to her friend Aztec, who instantly followed her and sought to protect her from whatever was about to happen.
“Rudina, please listen to me,” she urged, and Rudina turned to face her.
“Why should I listen to someone like you? Who will listen to you?” she said, before rushing at her and instantly dodging her attack.
“Rudina, I know you hear me. I know you’re simply swept away by your emotions. Do you remember your promise to me? Aren’t we friends? I know you love me. I’m begging you to listen to me,” she pleaded, looking into her eyes.
Rudina’s views of her suddenly changed until Daciana touched her face, but she just grinned at her and then choked her by the neck and threw her. Aztec immediately caught Daciana, and because of what happened, Aztec lost consciousness due to the force of his hitting the big rock just to save Daciana. But Daciana doesn’t care what happened because she knows that Rudina will not abandon their friendship.
Almost everything was ruined because of what Rudina did. Farkas made it to the pack, but many were damaged and died because of Rudina. While looking at the whole area covered in blood and surrounded by lifeless wolves, he heard Daciana’s voice struggling but still trying to calm Rudina down.
“Daciana,” he said, and immediately went to Daciana.
He immediately took the woman and then took her to a safe place. It looked at Rudina, who now had a very different form and appearance. She is smiling while observing her surroundings and seems to be happy with her desire. But there seems to be a gap in her heart that she doesn’t understand, and it seems that all the things she has done are not enough.
“For the duration of my patience and restraint, why does it seem like something is still missing even though I have done what I want?” she asked herself, then she looked at her hands, which had traces of blood. “AHHH!” She got hurt, and she grabbed her left chest.
“Rudina, listen. What you did is enough. It will not change what has already happened. You have already corrupted many, and many have lost their lives. Even your best friend you hurt just for your revenge. What you are doing is not right, Rudina. That’s it, I’m begging you to go home to the palace.” Davon made her understand everything.
Her tears dropped as she glanced at the man. She stared at Daciana, who was unconscious as a result of what had happened and could not move because of the multitude of bruises she had suffered during the battle between the two of them. Davon approached her and extended his hand, signaling that she wasn’t supposed to be worried anymore. Rudina was having second thoughts about her decision. She is unsure if she will accept his help or not.
When Rudina was about to hold Davon’s hand, she suddenly writhed in pain. “AHHHHHH!” Her cry echoed all around.
“RUDINA!”
