"That antique shop, Le Petit Bibelot, has been my favorite place to go for a few years now." Madeleine sighed as she relaxed back into her chair. "And... I would go through each booth because each one is owned by a different seller. Nothing was ever the same in each booth. But there was one booth that drew me towards it each time. For three years."
Christian suddenly became interested in what she had to say. "Three years?"
"Mm-hm. Three whole years." Madeleine bit her bottom lip and she felt his fingertips skirt along the back of her hand, that was rested on the arm of the chair. She slowly peered down as his fingers interlaced with her's. "I walked into a booth full of stuffed animals, baby clothing, and random other odds and ends. But for some reason... something drew me to this bookcase. On it sat a ring holder. You know? The black ones that look like the tip of a finger?"
