"Presenting the villain of this story is me! Essence, your one and only true villain with a taste of vengeance......." Smiles in a funny way.

In a white room filled with balls and a single chair, there is a young black tall Nigeria man with a very strong Ijebu accent wearing a jumpsuit is seated on the chair, scratching his left hand and he suddenly faces the front of the room.

"I know you people are probably wondering what's going on but don't worry...." Essence stands up from the chair and smiles.

"Welcome to a world filled with Humans and Supernaturals, who are the Supernaturals?" Licks his lips with his tongue and laughs manically.

"Supernaturals are a group of people gifted with extra ordinary powers, I'm also a Supernatural." Laughs.

"It's fun, some get useless powers, some get meh powers and some get extraordinary powers!" Essence waves his hands around and goes to sit on his chair.

"I hope y'all are still with me, I got mine by mistake but I'm not the focus of this story. Our focus are on four miserable souls, I hope you're ready to feel grateful for once in your life". Essence snaps his fingers and the whole room flashes out.

In Lagos surulere street, a young black skinned short man with a very low hair rushes out of a building and sits down on a chair outside. He folds his hands and breathes out heavily, a young black man comes to join him and sits down beside him, the man talks calmly

"Gboyega you're needed right now! The boss wants to see you." The man says harshly, Gboyega nods to the positive and the man walks away, he picks up his phone and checks his messages. Gboyega hand starts heating up and the phone melts.

In Akure, Ngozi a young black skinned tall lady with a all back hair wearing a nurse uniform arrives home after a very tiring night shift at the hospital, she lives in a three bedroom apartment. Ngozi rushes to her room and quickly lays on the bed, a sign of relief is shown on her face and she smiles a little bit. Her phone starts vibrating, she brings it out of her bag and picks the call. She talks in a very tiring manner.

"Hey Ada, hope everything is fine? I just got back home". Ngozi says and sighs.

"I was just wondering if you would like to go for this party a friend of mine organized by tomorrow." The caller talks back with a feminine voice, Ngozi puts the phone on mute and sighs heavily, she cuts the call and closes her eye. In Ngozi perspective, she felt that she doesn't need anyone and all she needs is to be alone and take care of herself, Ngozi receives a message and as she checks it she suddenly screams.

"No way!" She opens her mouth wide.

In Ekiti, Ayo a young black skinned man lays on the ground in the street, something very strange about Ayo is that he wasn't like other Supernaturals. The left side of his body was filled with robotic parts black and white metal latched with freely moving connecting rods lifted his clunky left leg and flat feet with protruding beams running up to his shiny hip. His exoskeleton sat within and partially behind a bulging torso, home to several twisted tubes and bolts, moving in and out with each movement he made, especially when his arms whirred up to tap the overhanging pipes on the ceiling of the corridor he passed. Behind his elbow along the upper rear of his arms were black boxes, neatly arranged with clasps surrounding them all. Ayo left eye suddenly shows a blue coloured holographic message, Ayo reads it and grunts.

"Impossible." He says slowly, stands up and grunts in pain.

In Lagos, Richard is in a big rectangular bedroom wakes up from his bed with two women sleeping beside him, Richard face looks pale and he rolls to the ground. Richard body suddenly vanishes from the bedroom and he finds himself in a white bathroom, he picks up a cigarette pack that's on the sink and lights it up, Richard picks up his phone and checks his messages. He drops the cigarette on the ground and rushes out of the bathroom.

That evening. In Abuja, in a huge black and brown mansion four different cars park in front, Gboyega comes out of a Lexus ES 330, Ayo comes out of a cab, Ngozi comes out of a corolla and Richard comes out of a range rover with a cigarette in his mouth. They all show up in black clothes and awkwardly stare at each other.

"It's great to see all of you again!" Richard shouts really loud cause of the distance they all maintained from each other, Ayo sighs and walks into the house, Gboyega does the same. Richard and Ngozi stare at each other, his heart was beating really fast and that's because Richard loved Ngozi they dated in the past but both decided to move on since it wasn't going anywhere, Richard still thinks about Ngozi and even though he tries to forget about her by sleeping with different women he can't while Ngozi has so many other personal issues to deal with she simply doesn't think she deserves him. Ngozi breaks the silence

"It's nice to see you again." Ngozi breaks the silence, Richard lights up a cigarette and pretends to not care

"Whatever."He says and walks toward the house.

The four move to a very large living room filled with extinct animals like The dinosaurs species, Dodo, a sabertooth tiger and others. They all sit down on the chairs while Ayo remains standing and moving around the living room.

"Where is he?" Ayo says angrily.

"Calm down, the man is already old. I can't believe Chong is dead." Gboyega says quietly, they all remain silent and Richard's stop smoking, the group lived with Chong in the house. A sense of guilt hits all of them cause they didn't really care for him while he was alive.

A old black man wearing a black suit called Papa comes out of the shadow, the group all move closer to him. Papa smiles and sits down on a chair beside him.

"It's good to see all of you again, you've all grown." Papa says and folds his arms, Richard moves closer to Papa and whispers to his ear.

"Trust me when I say I'm still pretty messed up." Richard say and winks with his right eye, Papa shakes his head disappointed but happy to see the people he took care of.

"What killed him?" Ngozi says softly, Papa stammers at first but finds the courage to respond.

"He had a headache and before I knew it the sickness got worst, I did my best to help him........" Papa breaks down and tears quickly roll down from his eyes, Papa and Chong had a very tight relationship when the others left to figure out more about themselves Chong decided to stay and take care of Papa, Ayo quickly runs and comforts Papa, Papa stands up and faces them.

"You people need to get some rest, you'll need it cause we're going to the mortuary tomorrow." Papa says swiftly and walks out of the living room

A hour later, Ngozi settles in her room she brings out a red crested amulet from her pocket. The amulet is a old ancient artifact that has been passed on to different ladies, Ngozi grandmother passed it to her before she died, the amulet contains different powers but Ngozi sees no purpose to it and rather uses only one power from it which is to create her own imaginary friend. A black German Shepard dog suddenly appears beside her and a talking white gorilla suddenly appears behind her, Ngozi smiles and turns around she hugs the gorilla and speaks to it.

"Today has been a horrible day for me Huffcupp." She says happy, the gorilla sits on the ground and responds in a British accent.

"Apart from Chong death, is it because of Richard?" Ngozi moves back a bit.

"I don't care about Richard, it's a old flame." Her voice shakens a bit, Huffcupp punches her hand, Ngozi pets her dog and hits Huffcupp back.

"You ready to play monopoly?" She says softly,Huffcupp nods to the positive.

Ayo settles in his room, he stares at his robot hand so much that he wasn't aware that Papa has entered his room. Papa taps him and sits down on Ayo chair, Papa speaks.

"Are you fine Ayo?" Papa asked, he was concerned Ayo was in a very different mood of brooding, Ayo chuckles.

"Will you stop pretending like I don't send you a text every week." Ayo says while laughing, Papa smiles and hugs him. Ayo was always the closest with Papa, he was the first that got into Papa's house and while the others agreed to leave Ayo didn't really want to but felt he had to move on, Ayo always said that Papa saved his life and he owes alot to him.

"Your decision to stop using your robotic powers Ayo......" Ayo quickly interrupts Papa.

"I know you want to know why but it's my decision not to use it and I really want to tell you the reason...." Ayo sighs heavily. "But I don't think I can." Papa pat's his shoulder and looks into his eyes.

"You'll be fine boy." Papa assures Ayo.

Gboyega sets up his room and lays on his bed, Gboyega sighs in relief he always found comfort in this room. He stands up from the bed, checks his box and picks up a portrait from his bag, the portrait is of a young black lady smiling, Gboyega places the portrait on the bed beside him and lay down, his hand starts heating up again and he quickly picks up the portrait again, he talks to himself. "I'll always miss you Gbemi."

Richard is asleep with different women on the bed and bottles of wine on the floor. Richard checks his phone and sees alert of different amount of money entering his account, he makes a phone call and speaks with a woman. "Thanks."

The next morning, the whole group gather in the living room waiting for Papa, Papa joins them and speaks.

"We need to move now! Chong has a friend that will be waiting for us by now." Papa says sharply, Richard brings out a cigarette but Papa quickly takes it out of his mouth.

"They will be no smoking today Richard."Papa scolds Richard he was in a hurry, Ngozi starts getting suspicious.

The whole house suddenly starts shaking, Gboyega hand starts heating up.

"Everyone get behind me." Gboyega says and a huge flame comes out of his hand,Papa starts moving back, Ngozi moves closer to him.

"Papa what's going on?" Ngozi says bold enough to question Papa's movement, Ayo gets annoyed by her question and pushes her aside Ayo pushes her aside.

"Just leave him alone." Ayo says angrily, a large red coloured portal suddenly opens in front of the living room, Richard opens his mouth wide!

What the fuck!" Richard screams a bit, time suddenly starts moving slowly it affects the team except Papa, Essence appears in front of them,Papa faces Essence.

"You!" Papa says scared, Essence smiles manically and responds.

"Yes, me!" Essence voice echoed around the house, Papa moves back and tears fill his eyes.

"It's been years, why can't you let this go?" Papa pleads, Essence grabs Papa left hand "You ruined my life and now that I can finally locate you I can ruin yours back." Essence says, snaps his fingers and disappears.

Time starts moving normal again, Papa stretches his hand towards Ayo.

"Help me." Papa says swiftly as the portal sucks him inside. Ayo screams and cries out.

The group stares at the portal. Gboyega panics around, Richard looks for his cigarette, Ngozi sits down on a chair far from the others and Ayo moves closer to the portal. Ayo turns around and faces the team.

"We need to go inside the portal." Says Ayo, Gboyega moves closer to him and questions his idea.

"No way." Gboyega said and turns around, Ayo stares at him in disgust knowing that this isn't the same Gboyega he knew before they left the house.

"We're going in whether you like it or not." Ayo voice gets higher and he folds his hands. Richard moves between them and chuckles.

" Why are we wasting precious time?" Richard says and jumps into the portal, Ngozi quickly jumps off from the chair and move to the others.

"Well we can't just let him die." Ngozi says and jumps into the portal while Ayo grabs Gboyega left hand and drags him, Gboyega knowing he has no other choice sighs and follows.

Richard wakes up and finds himself outside, the whole place is filled with waters. Richard wanders around for a little bit and can't find a way out, he doesn't really care about his present situation and is more bothered about his cigarette he searches the clothes on his body but can't find it.

"Shit!" Richard cries out, he then sits on the watery floor, squeezes his eyes and tries to teleport out of the place but his powers aren't working. Suddenly Ayo, Ngozi and Gboyega appear beside him, Richard stands up and hugs Ayo out of excitement, Ayo pushes him. Gboyega looks around.

"Where are we? Ayo can't you use your robotic powers and scan this place?" Gboyega asked, Ayo faces his head down.

"I don't use my powers anymore." Ayo voice shakens, Ngozi moves closer to him.

"You won't or you can't?" She stares at Ayo very deeply.

"Hello!" The team suddenly hear a disoriented voice of Essence and all start looking around out of fear Ngozi summons Huffcupp. Richard sighs, he has always hated Huffcupp they never got along and Huffcupp feels Richard is trying to hurt Ngozi.

"Not the white gorilla again." The whole ground start shaking and the team quickly gather around Huffcupp.

"We'll need him." Says Gboyega.

Essence appears in front of them smiling manically, Richard pushes Ayo to talk for them. Ayo moves closer to Essence and starts questioning him.

"Who are you?" Ayo asked, he's robot eye starts blinking to fast, Essence notices the group are scared of him and starts laughing manically again.

"Call me Essence you bunch of losers." Said Essence.

"That's a very shitty name, you expect us to take you serious with that name." Richard laughs out loud, Huffcupp slaps him at the back of his head and Richard immediately keeps quiet. Gboyega who has a very short temper moves forward to Essence.

"We are completely wasting time here, Where is Papa Essence?" Gboyega shouted, Essence jumps around and replies.

" He is probably somewhere suffering right now." Essence gently tells them, Gboyega hand start heating up and fireballs start sparking out his hands.

"Don't let me hurt you." Gboyega said already losing his temper.

" Let the fun begin." Essence snaps his fingers.

Gboyega suddenly finds himself on the roadside with people running away from a very drastic explosion. Gboyega starts shivering knowing this particular place he couldn't feel his powers anymore.

"What I'm I doing here? Someone get me out of here!" Gboyega cries out, this particular place holds a strong and painful memory in him, Gboyega starts hearing Essence voice but can't find him.

Gboyega and everyone in the environment suddenly stop moving, Essence appears and starts talking.

"Readers! Meet Gboyega, a young Supernatural who can control fire and had no absolute control over it in the past. It ruined his life and he was treated like a total outcast but why do I have to continue to spoil this things for you, I'm sure you'll know more when you continue reading."

Essence chuckles and vanishes, everyone starts moving again. Gboyega starts moving to the place of the explosion, he clearly isn't doing this by himself he tries to move back but Essence is in control of his body. Gboyega continues to struggles but he gets to the scene of the explosion, he sweats heavily and he sees the burnt body of Gbemi.

"Gbemi." Gboyega rolls around on the ground, his heart starts beating very fast, he screams and cries out for help but there was no way he was getting out of this nightmare.

Ayo finds himself in a very tiny kitchen. Ayo has a very high IQ due to the robot parts on him, he could have easily scanned where he was but he chose not to, he had vowed to never use his powers again.

"What's going on?" Ayo quietly walks around, Ayo suddenly stops moving and Essence appears in front of him.

"Readers! Meet Ayo, This dumbass got his powers by mistake, just like me. He has made alot of mistakes in his lifetime but I don't need to spoil all the juicy secrets." Essence disappears and Ayo body starts moving again, Ayo stares at a tiny window and he sees himself in a full robot form without any human part. Ayo quickly shifts back and looks around so he could possibly escape, he has felt like a monster for a very long time and tries to accept his humanity in so many possible ways but has failed countless times.

"That isn't who I am." Ayo talks confidently, the robotic figure comes out of the mirror. Ayo starts to stammer a and shakes.

"It is you, it's us Ayo." Says the robot, a lady comes into the kitchen with a baby. Ayo knows who this lady is, he quickly turns his face around cause he can't face her, the robot moves to the woman and punches her on the guy. Ayo bends down and his robotic parts start malfunctioning, tears gushes out from his eyes.

"No, no, no ,no." Say Ayo as his voice shakens, Essence appears in front of him and smiles.

"It's who you are, this is why you stopped using your powers Ayo. You can't change what you already are." Essence says and snaps his finger.

Richard finds himself in a large room, he lays on the floor and is facing a large bed. Richard clearly knows where he is but how he got there he doesn't know. Richard wanders around for a minute and tries to look for a way out, he immediately starts chuckling.

"You really think this will hurt me? My mother is the Queen of illusions. I'll just sit and wait till you get tired." Richard rants, time suddenly stops moving and Essence appears in front of Richard and slaps him.

"Dear Readers, meet Richard also a Supernatural who has ability of teleportation." Essence vanishes and Richard body starts moving again, a woman and man suddenly appear on the bed.

"What the fuck?" Richard shifts back, he sees the entrance door to the room and uses all his might to open it but the door stays shut. The man tries to remove the woman's dress but she pushes him down on the bed and brings out a knife from under the bed, the man tries to hold her down but she successfully stabs him right through the head. Richard cries out and sits down on the floor grabbing his head with his hands, he felt pain and betrayal from seeing that.

"Why would you do that Mom?" Richard sniffs and tears roll down from his eyes, he had seen what he has always been trying to avoid.

Ngozi and Huffcupp find themselves in a cabin house, Huffcupp quickly stays behind Ngozi to protect her.

"It's going to be fine." Huffcupp tries to calm her down cause he knows how dangerous her powers can get when she's stressed.

Ngozi tries to look away and quickly hugs Huffcupp to not see anything, Huffcupp suddenly fades away.

"No." Ngozi stretches her left hand but Huffcupp body had already turned into dust, Essence appears in front of her. Ngozi grabs his neck and stares at him in a very vicious way.

"What did you do to him?" She said boldly, Essence giggles.

"Nothing, he's just back into that amulet of yours." He snaps his fingers and time suddenly stops, Essence pushes Ngozi out of the way.

"Readers. Please stay with me, meet Ngozi the girl with the special amulet that has been passed on from woman to woman. Her grandmother gave it to her but this one is very easy to break unlike the others." Essence says and vanishes A strange man appears holding the hand of a little girl, Ngozi kneels down and covers her eyes.

"Please stop this." Her voice shakens, she starts getting really scared and her amulet starts levitating. The man removes the clothes of the young girl.

"That's enough!" Ngozi stands up boldly and her eyes colours quickly change to a very deep black colour. A dark gas suddenly starts appearing around the room, one of her imaginary friend was emerging but Ngozi never used that one cause it had some kind of control over her. This particular friend only came out once when Ngozi was in very deep danger, a albino woman covered by black feathers around her body with a black hat and deeply black high heels appears beside Ngozi. The name of this strange woman was Tina, Tina summoned a dark power ball that starts expanding around the room. Essence appears again and starts getting scared.

"Shit. it's Tina, even I can't really stop her I guess you bunch of fools are lucky this time. Thanks to Ngozi and her dearest imaginary friend, next time don't come after your dearest Papa." Essence laughs, his voice starts fading away and he snaps his finger.
