Chapter 54

After talking to Abigail, Daniel felt a little hopeful for things, but he tried his best to keep his hopes a little low, he didn't want to get too excited just to get disappointed once again, so instead he kept himself busy so he didn't think too much about everything while waiting for Andrea to wake up from her nap.

When Andrea woke up Daniel was the first one to pick her up, he changed her clothes to something a little warmer and made sure to change her diaper as well, he brushed her hair and made two little buns with them.

When they left their lodge, Daniel held Andrea's left hand and Carter held her right hand, and they walked together to Daniel's family. At first, Daniel was quite confident about the idea of meeting them, but as they got closer to the house, he couldn't help but feel nervous.

When they arrived at Daniel's parents' lodge and after waiting a little while, the door swung open, revealing Daniel's oldest half-sibling - Sam.
