Overcoming pain

Ian's POV

Tears streamed down my face as I dug. I glanced at Gabrielle. Her whole body was wrapped with a white cloth. She laid still. I shook my head slowly as I continued digging. Ted glanced at me then continued digging too.

/"Hey, man./" Ted helped me carry her. /"You've got to be strong. I'm sure she would want you to continue fighting./"

/"Gabrielle is a strong woman./" Jason looked down at the corpse. /"I know she won't want us to stop./"

I drew in mucus and slowly dropped her into the ground. Ted and Jason walked up to me and held my shoulders. Okoye closed our distance.

/"I'm sorry about this man./" He looked down at her body. Demons started covering her with sand. /"If you don't want to advance into the Mayoral house, I understand./"
