Ian's POV

I thrust my sword through the guts of the guard before me. He coughed out blood, splashing some on my face.

/"Come on man, I just showered./" I drew out my weapon and he slumped to the ground, his hand covering his bleeding spot. I brought out a handkerchief from my breast pocket and wiped my face. Some of the liquid slipped into my tongue and I spat it out.

Jason and Zara were on time. The lights went out as planned. Looking back, my eyes trailed the pile of dead bodies, courtesy of my killer swordsmanship. I pushed the door open and saw Gabrielle hanging Adam in the air.

He floated mid air, his arms stretched out. /"Please, don't kill me./"

/"Why shouldn't I./" I released my fist and the sword dispersed in flames, the ring glinting in the darkness. The red glint of my eyes was the only source of light in the room and I'm sure it scared Adam more.
