Today, Follia Loralei was in a palatable mood.
As the pencil between her thumb and her index finger balanced between life and death, Follia nonchalantly watched the cold slushy rain, drivel onto the windows, with a foreboding smile on her face.
"Don't laugh!"
She remembered the line perfectly, each time her brain hit, 'replay,' Follia had to fight the urge to laugh in public and attract unwanted attention.
Of course, it wasn't all giggles and fun for Follia.
Death was never, 'fun' for Follia but as she made her way home that night, she couldn't help but be amused, even through the pain.
By the time she reached her front door, she was covered in blood, yet, that smug smile never left her face.
Even after she swore not to say anything at all, she still couldn't help thinking about it from time to time. Resulting in a string of deaths which felt more like self-defense on his part rather then resentment.
she really had to do something about that mind-reading thing...
Follia waded through the world in her mind, completely ignoring her surroundings.
She felt a tap on her desk.
Snapping out of her trance, Follia was greeted by energetic eyes, who actively searched her of any signs that she been safe since the 'horrific' incident.
"Hey, Follia. You didn't run into that creep on your way to school today?"
Follia shook her head, "No. Why would I run into a creep here?"
Eve nodded slowly, noticing that this was the first time she'd seen Follia with a face that showed any type of amusement, making her wonder what she was thinking about.
She quickly abandoned that thought, though, and remembered what happened the other night. Since then, Eve had made up her mind to do everything in her power to make sure nothing awful befell this poor girl.
Her detailed plan which was carefully named "Friendship Prevails," was sure to get the dangerous task at hand done.
Totally lost in her own pace, Eve gave Botan a determined nod, 'Botan, we must do our best!'
Botan rolled his eyes from his pencil case.
'Does this girl ever learn?'

Earlier that day, Follia didn't realize anything strange when Eve came over to talk to her, nor did she realize Eve had began acting like the protagonist of her cartoon drama, since that morning.
Honestly,
Follia had already acknowledged that the girl was strange but mostly harmless, and left her to her own devices.
That was earlier that morning, though.
Follia slowly walked down the hall, she felt someone following her, and used her peripheral-vision to glance behind her.
"Eve... why are you following me?"
Skillfully, Eve looked up in surprise, then delight filled her eyes, and washed over her face.
One had to admit, she was a good actress.
"Follia, are you going to lunch? Let me come with you!"
She skipped over, and childishly grabbed onto Follia's arm, "Birds of a feather flock together!"
Follia looked down at her arm, perplexed by the sudden intimacy.
"...Sure."
"Are we going to eat under the stairs or in the bathroom?"
"What?"
"Even though I always wanted to try, I was scared someone would see me and laugh, but if there's two, then you're not a loser!"
Follia's eyes widened as she realized her hiding place was found out, and that Eve, of all people just called her a loser, both were shocking to her, honestly.
"Let's just eat in the courtyard, okay?"
Follia averted a potential crisis and, the direction she was walking, to the courtyard.
"It's a promise, then!"
It was then, when Follia realized that she would probably never understand what was going through this girls head.
