Aru's real identity was always a mystery. He never spoke much about himself or where he came from.

Seeing a recommendation from her academy in his hand shocked Alia. Especially from someone she looked up to.

"Do you believe me now?" Aru's words snapped her out of her thoughts.

"Yes." She nodded hesitantly.

"Now you know how I found out about the demon wells, right?"

"Yes." Alia could only nod.

Although Aru claimed he came from a small tribe in the north, Alia never believed him.

For the past few days, she had been trying hard to uncover Aru's real identity. Only then could the deal between them be enforced. But she didn't have any effective methods.

Aru was clearly stronger than her. Forcing him to speak was out of the question.

So, she observed everything he did, searching for clues.

That's when she came across some information. Like how he was related to the ice phoenix clan from Gui.
