Meanwhile, Aru sat in the carriage, looking out the window with hundreds of different thoughts brewing in his mind. He could clearly remember what the soul and demon had said.
"Huh! An apocalypse," he muttered, rubbing his temple.
His brain was overheating, creating a headache as he analyzed the bits of information.
"The demons want to invade this world and conquer it. Creating a perfect demon is their ultimate goal, and there seems to be one already in the making."
"Sigh."
"Damned demons."
"More and more demons will come, and the world will be flooded by them. It's a revelation. Are they saying that I won't be able to live peacefully in this life either?"
Aru mumbled and looked out the window. The cold, chilling air from outside washed over his face, keeping him awake.
"Dormant demons. Artha attack. Traitors among humans. All in all, I am fucked." That was the only conclusion Aru could reach.
