Calculation

Please give this research credit to BOLTY for the wing calculations.

To start of you need to find your weight with flight muscle, we are talking fully grown, fully trained wings. To do that you will multiply your weight times 0.25 plus your weight. That will be the raw average weight when your fully grow and trained. My answer is 217.

The next equation is how much your bones and feathers will weigh not including flight muscle, Just limbs. Taking your answer from step one and multiply it by 0.1, that is the weight of your bones and feathers or known well as limbs of your wings. Mine is 22.

The third step is to find your final weight. Take your answer from step one and two and add them together. That is over all weight. Mine is 240.

The fourth step is finding your carrying capacity. Winged creatures can carry 30% to 40% of their body weight ON TOP of their overall weight. 35% is a good starting point. So the calculation for crying is your overall weight times 0.35 plus your overall weight. Then take the new answer and subtract it by your overall weight. You now know how much you can carry in air and on average. My carry weight would be 75.95.

Step five is easy, take your answer from step two and plug it into this graph. Bottom is wings span so plug the number in using the side, the side is wing weight. My wings span would be roughly 26 ft.
