Human vs fighter jet

John dropped the car to the ground.

He looked up at the dragon circling through the sky. It would only be another couple of minutes until it descended again. In that time John had to think up a plan.

How does a human defeat a fighter jet?

John had figured out how to survive a fighter jet.

But how would he defeat it?

The dragon descended again. John crouched down and brought the car above himself.

The metal grew hotter as the sound of a rushing river surrounded John.

"CRAP. The car's on a time limit."

With repeated attacks, the car would grow too hot for John to hold.

That was the dragon's strategy. It would keep throwing fire at John until his defence was unusable.

~I need to keep moving.~

As long as the dragon didn't attack John during the brief period when he switched cars. This strategy should be redundant.

John started to walk towards a nearby group of cars. He had to keep his distance or the fire would heat the cars near him.

But the farther he was from the cars the more chance the dragon would have to attack.

The dragon desencded.

~SHIT!~

John raised the car above his head.

The car grew hotter with the sound of a rushing river.

The fire ended. A slight burning sensation was now singing John's hands.

~I'm running out of time.~

John could wait and switch cars when his vehicle grew too hot. But right now John was reasonably sure that the dragon's fire was on cool down.

John chucked his car to the side and speed-shuffled to the closest nearby car.

The sound of a rushing river resonated behind John.

~CRAP! It must have been faking its cooldown times.~

With a couple more steps John had reached the car.

He crouched down while hefting it into the air.

The sound of a rushing river surrounded John.

As quickly as it began the sound ended. The new car was now slightly hot to the touch.

~What do I do?~ John thought to himself.

As things were now John had only been able to attack and never defend. He couldn't win the fight with just this.

~I can try throwing rocks at it.~

John picked up a small fist-sized chuck on concrete from the ground. When the dragon descended he would throw it.

After a few moments, the dragon began to descend again.

John brought his arm back and bent his torso. He planned to throw it javelin style.

~That's close enough.~

With a snap of his arm, John sent the stone hurtling towards the dragon.

The dragon calmly blew a gust of fire under its right wing while closing its left one.

The heat produced an updraft and the dragon flipped through the air. The stone whizzed straight past it.

The dragon closed its right wing and did a barrel roll in the air to reorient itself.

Its wings snapped back open as it descended further.

John rushed the car over his head. The sound of a rushing river engulfed him as the car grew hotter.

~I have to start moving again.~

As the dragon began to ascend John dropped the car to the ground and began to drag it behind him.

John walked forward for a few moments.

Then he glanced up at the sky.

The dragon was descending again.

John bent down and picked up a piece of broken metal from the ground.

He bent his arm back. And with a snap, he threw it towards the dragon.

He completely missed the dragon by many feet.

~SHIT!~

John crouched down and brought his car above himself.

The car grew hotter.

John dropped the car to the ground and dashed towards the closest car as the dragon descended.

He grabbed the car and out of instinct he brought the car above his head.

It was lucky that he did as the dragon sent flames John's way not too far after.

John looked up at the dragon as it ascended. It was faltering slightly.

As John saw that he realised something.

How does a human win against a fighter jet?

It's simple.

They avoid or endure its attacks until it runs out of fuel.

John looked up at the dragon. He had a cruel grin on his face.

"I wonder who will last the longest?"

And thus began the brutal endurance match of John vs. Dragon.

...….

Travel log: Day three

I call this a travel log. But so far I haven't really done any traveling. I might need to change the name.

That's off-topic. Let me get back to what this is really all about.

The cockroach. That's right. This thing that has so much of the mana adjacent energy is a cockroach.

A strong one at that.

On the ground, it had enough strength to rip me to shreds. It had already pulled some of my teeth out. And that sucks! THOSE DON'T GROW BACK YOU KNOW!

The only other creature that I regularly encounter with that much strength is a bear. That thing is like a bear.

It uses those weird metal amalgamations for cover whenever I attack it.

I've had to resolve this many times in my life. And I'll have to resolve it now. This fight might be one that I will die from.

I just hope that if I die my eggs will be okay.

End of log

Short chapter.

Pizza.

Soda.

Farts.

Give me power stone. I am caveman and I like rocks
