THE UNLOVED GIRL

My name is Ariana. My parent are dead so I live with my stepmother in California, San Fransisco precisely and. she doesn't really love me but I do because she is the one that have been taking care of me since I was 10years old after my father death. Am gonna be 18 in the next two days. Based on what she told me, she said my mom and her are best friends and they both love the same man but the man only love my mom so she was jealous and heartbroken. After my parent got married, they had me and life was going well until one day, a police came to our house and told me and my dad that my mom had a ghastly accident and she lost her life. After mourning for days, things return back to normal but not me be because I still miss her. I was 6years old when my mom died. After 2years my dad decide to remarried and she married my mom friend. My dad died from cardiac arrest when I was 10 years old so it has been seven years since the incident happen. I don't really remember much about it but that is what she told me. I do ask her whether I av grandparents but she said no and didn't say anything than that.

Am a high school student even though am gonna be 18, I have to work to pay my school fees and buy some other stuff during that time my boss may fire me and I av to find another job and end up missing school. At least am grateful she did not kick me out and she feed me. Anyway school is resuming next week and I av to find job and this time I want some where I could get paid very well so that I could save for college. I have determination to go to college and after all that is the only solution I can get so that I will be able to work and get paid much money. I love singing too to ease my grief especially when am alone.

Oh my God, I forgot to wash the plate as she run downstairs and I hope she will be back home late because i don't wanna get beaten again like the other day and as soon as she finishing saying that the door bell rang. Am fucked up tonight, she thought as she made her way to open the door for her. she greet her stepmother and her stepmother ask whether she has wash the plate she ask her to and she said no. immediately, she felt a hand on her cheek, she just got slapped without giving the chance to explain. Her stepmother told her she is not gonna eat tonight and she has to wash all the plate before going to sleep.

Ariana woke up 5:00am everyday. She quickly wash her face and teeth and went downstairs to start cooking. she just finishing cooking when she heard footstep of her stepmother coming to the dining room. They ate together and she told her she is bringing her boyfriend home and gave her money to cook for them. immediately she left, she did her house chores and went to grocery store to buy foodstuff for cooking. After getting home, she cooked and not long after she finish, she heard two voice talking and laughing and she immediately go to her room after unlocking the door. she heard all their talk and laugh and she slept off.

She woke up late today and she quickly ran downstairs but she couldn't find her stepmother and she was relief. That means she cooked today for me,her and her boyfriend. Thank God she didn't come upstairs to beat me or pour water on me. Suddenly, she remembered today is her birthday and she thought how would it be if her parent is still alive but here is she, nobody to wish her happy birthday. she feel hurt and pain but she soon forget it and went out in search of work which she found after long search. she told he employer she is a student and will be doing part time and he agree.
