Chapter 85: In His Arms II
Having no reply from the king, Celestiel let out an inaudible sigh. Her grip on the man loosened and she made to move off him. She could not say she was not disappointed when in fact, she deeply was. His silence which she had taken for a no, cut deep into her heart. But she did not blame him, she cared way too deeply to harbour any anger towards him.
However, just as she began moving off of the king, he suddenly grabbed the wrists of her hands, pushing her backwards and suddenly unto the surface of the bed, lifting her hands and placing them above her head in a firm lock. A gasp of surprise left the princess' lips as her body sank into the soft surface of the sheet covered bed.
Her golden eyes met Sebastian's black one. He hovered above her, mere inches away from her. His eye stared at her, deeply, as though he saw passed the golden hues of her eyes and right into her soul.
