Grandpa Jun was sitting in the living room, his clouded eyes glinting as he watched the two of them in their disarray. "What happened?" he asked.
"It's nothing, Grandpa. Ranran is a little injured. I'm taking her to her room," Jun Mochan didn't want to elaborate much.
Grandpa Jun quickly followed, "Injured? Wasn't she perfectly well? And you were with her. How did she get injured?"
You can't even protect your own wife, what kind of man are you?
"It was my fault," Jun Mochan's voice carried a tone of self-reproach.
He shouldn't have left Ye Ranran alone; then none of this would have happened.
"Grandpa, don't blame him. It's my fault," Ye Ranran defended Jun Mochan.
Seeing Ye Ranran's unsettlingly pale face, Jun Grandpa waved his hand, "Forget it, go upstairs. I'll call the doctor over immediately."
Ye Ranran's hand injury flared up again and she ended up having to go to the hospital.
