The easiest part

For a moment he didn't know what to say. It was such an odd feeling hearing your own voice talking back to you in real-time.

"Hello?"

"Y-Yeah, I'm here. You are...?"

"Park Hyun. That voice, you are...me?"

"Yeah..."

Neither of them knew what to say so it got pretty awkward pretty quickly but...what surprised Geun Tae the most was how calm and collected Park Hyun's response was.

It made sense for him to be this relaxed because his world had already been turned upside down a long time ago, but for this superstar idol it was a different deal.

He had everything to lose from this and yet there was not a hint of panic in his voice. And because of that Geun Tae's thoughts only led him down one path-

'Does he know something? Is he in on this- whatever it is? I should ask to meet him face to face, if he tries to push it back I will know something is wrong!'

"We need to meet," he quickly asked, "Right now!"

"Sure. Do you have a place in mind?" Park Hyun calmly inquired.

'....Didn't think I would get this far, where to meet? At the park maybe? No, what if Im Jae or the owner is there, I don't want to involve any of them.'

"What about you? Do you know somewhere quiet we can meet?"

"Yes, I will text you the address. Ask for 'Jay' when you get there, he will take you to a secluded spot."

*Click*

And then he hung up before Geun Tae could say anything. Not a minute later the text came in.

"This address...isn't this right on Gangnam-daero?! How is this quiet??" (Gangnam-daero is one of the most popular shopping streets of Seoul)

"Whatever, I'll see it when I get there."

Geun Tae jumped to his feet with newfound vigor and ran to the bathroom to take a quick shower. He was still covered in vomit so it was a must.

It took him a little over ten minutes to change into some 'casual' clothes he found in the walk-in closet that was yet again bigger than his apartment. It was the least flashy and simple t-shirt and pants he could get his hands on but on him, they still looked expensive and made him stand out.

"Damnit, how does this guy look like a supermodel in everything? God, I hate him more and more," Geun Tae muttered through gritted teeth while looking at his reflection in the mirror.

"I need to dress as inconspicuously as possible. Don't want to get swarmed by fans and paparazzi or whatever, I'm sure there is no end to them considering how popular this guy is."

He put on a puffy jacket, a cap, and some sunglasses from the dozens laying around in the closet.

"This should be good enough."

But when he was about to leave Geun Tae realized he didn't have any money. He checked the drawers and bedside tables but only found a couple of credit cards.

"How does he not have ANY cash? Is this what all rich people are like? At least keep a wallet..." grumbling and complaining he finally left the room but found himself face to face with an army of maids.

There were all standing outside waiting for him.

"Young master!" they bowed from the waist.

"O-Oh, yeah hey," Geun Tae waved at them, "I'm going out for a while, take the rest of the day off. Don't go into my room, don't touch anything."

"But your breakfast-"

"No need, I'll eat outside!" he said while jumping down the stairs.

The maids were left dumbfounded at his odd behavior which did not end there because just a few seconds later his head poked out from around a corner, "Um, where is the garage?"

One of the maids who was in her late sixties and dressed from all the rest came down.

"Young master, are you feeling okay? Should I call a doctor? Or your mother, I know she would love to hear from you-"

"NO! I-I mean there is no need to bother her right now. I have an urgent meeting with a friend, just take me to the garage."

She stared into his eyes for a few seconds before nodding, "Of course. Please follow me."

She did as instructed, leading Geun Tae to an elevator that went a couple of floors down and opened up into a massive room filled to the brim with all kinds of luxurious supercars that he had only ever seen in video games and movies.

"Which one would you like today? Should I call a driver?"

Geun Tae was sweating bullets. He didn't know how to drive any of these cars and spending any more time than necessary with these people was a bad idea. The more he lingered the higher the chances that he would do something that would be very suspicious to anyone that knew the real Park Hyun.

"Um, on second thought...I think I will take a walk. It's pretty nice weather outside, would be a shame not to make use of it you know? Haha," he smiled towards the head-maid and started walking towards the door.

"Oh yeah, is there an ATM nearby? I need to withdraw some cash."

That seemed to be the most normal thing he had asked for yet because the head maid immediately jumped into action.

"Of course, I will bring you some. Would 50 be okay?"

"Yeah, more than enough I think."

'50,000 won should be enough for a taxi ride, if it's more I can just use the card.' (50,000won is around 38USD)

The elevator doors opened a minute later and she walked out with a small black bag, presenting it to him on a literal silver platter.

"Uh, yeah thanks."

'A lot of trouble for just 50-'

Geun Tae picked up the bag and opened it while talking to himself but when he saw the bundles of glistening notes packed inside his eyes almost popped out of their sockets.

*Cough*Cough*

Somehow he choked on empty air.

"H-How much is this??"

*Cough*

"50 million, just like you asked." (Approximately 38,500USD)

"Oh y-yeah, right. That's what I asked for. I don't want to carry the bag around so just this much is fine..." he reached in and took out half a bundle which was more than enough for any normal person to live off for a week or two.

"Of course, I will put the rest in the safe."

"Yeah...you do that."

Geun Tae could not be any more uncomfortable even if he tried. He basically ran out of the garage and then kept that pace for the next five minutes before a large gate finally came into view.

There was a whole team of guards stationed around it waiting for him.

"Young master!"

They bowed from the waist in the same manner as Geun Tae slowed down and the gate opened by itself.

He waved at them awkwardly while cursing himself inwardly.

'Should have asked the driver to drop me off somewhere. How the hell am I going to find a taxi in this neighborhood?! Should I...ask them?'

He looked over to the nearest guard, "Hey...man. Do you know where I can get a taxi around here?"

The guards looked at each other speechlessly before one finally spoke up.

"There are no taxis around here, young master. Should I call the driver? He can drop you off wherever you need."

"Uh, sure, if it's not too much trouble."

"Of course not!"

They jumped on their walky-talkies and not a minute later three black cars pulled up.

The guards ran to the one in the middle and opened the door for him, "Please."

"Thanks...I guess," Geun Tae mumbled while getting in. There was already one person sitting in the backseat.

He was wearing a black suit with sunglasses, just like the two guys in the front.

"The package is on board," he spoke into his hand and the cars started moving.

No one said a single word to him, not even asking where he wanted to go. About twenty minutes later the scenery finally began to change from massive estates to villas and more traffic could be seen on the road.

"You can drop me off near here somewhere, I'll take a taxi."

All three of them including the driver suddenly turned towards Geun Tae, startling him.

"W-What? I just don't want to make a scene. I'm meeting an online friend and he doesn't know who I am."

The guards looked at each in confusion before one of them whispered something into his earpiece and the cars stopped near an already parked taxi.

One of the men from the car ahead walked over to the driver seat of the taxi and handed him an envelope. There was some heated discussion but then the driver suddenly exited the taxi and stood on the side while the guard got in.

Someone opened the door for Geun Tae, "He will take you wherever you need."

"Huh? Oh right...thanks..."

Geun Tae changed cars, from the armored fleet he left with to a premium taxi that was driven by one of 'his' people.

"Where to sir?"

"This place, do you know it?"

"Of course."
