"Listen, Satrya.."
She whispered softly. Her daughter paused a moment in her eating to gaze at her, those slanted bright eyes with a turbulent emotion, gazing at her waiting.
"Mmmm,"
"you must stay alert in the time to come,"
Puzzlement passed across her face as she her mother looked on trying her hardest to memorise everything she possibly could of her first-born daughter the second child.
Composing herself almost immediately she smiled patting her daughter knowing her time was up so she stood, gathering her emotions before turning away, walking pass the barrier and then through the heavy doors.
Outside, she heard the first wail. Her heart was breaking, but for Satrya to survive she had to force her to remember.
"Suffer first in order to grow stronger and survive," she said fighting tears as she clenched her fist continuing on one painful step after the other.
She swore she could hear her hearts breaking like glass shattering.
