Chapter 105: Luna… Duties…?
Eleonore’s POV
The twins showed up exactly half an hour after I had gotten home. I had managed to shower and tidy up some of the things that had become untidy since my absence here, but thankfully nothing too major had happened.
It felt good to be back home and have that sense of familiarity. However, the looming image of a pair of twin alphas sitting casually on your living room couch that just seemed so small beneath them tended to… distort the image of mundane, somewhat.
They had come over with Chinese take-out, and I had put on a movie for the three of us to watch while we ate. Both to fill the silence and also serve as a distraction. I still wasn’t sure what it was they wanted to talk about, but I could tell they were nervous and itching to begin speaking about it.
I, however, wanted to live in the world where I was just a normal girl watching a movie and eating Chinese food with friends.
