THE STORY OF SAHIL

Once upon a time, there was a boy namely Sahil. He was hardworking and kind to everyone. Sahil was the only source of family income. He earned enough to feed them but he wanted to give his family a better life.

One day, he returned from work exhausted. His mother was working in the kitchen. She gave him a glass of water, which relieved him. He sat on a chair and told his mother, "Ammi, I think our economy isn't enough to give us a better life, maybe I should leave the village and go to city to earn money." His mother agreed.

Next day, he left the village along with his friend to seek out some earning in town. As they walked, they reached a forest. They were tired, so they decided to take a rest. Abruptly, Sahil saw an old lady who was carrying a heavy sack with her. She asked everyone to carry her sack, but everybody overlooked her except Sahil.

Sahil inquired her, "Where I've to go?"

"It's not that distant. I'll tell you when we'll reach there. Just keep moving forward." He took that hefty bag and went away with that old lady.

After some time, Sahil reached a more denser forest. Suddenly, she told Sahil to halt. He kept that bag down. She opened her bag and gave him a small box. "Open this when I'll leave." By saying this, she vanished.

Sahil opened that box. There was a paper inside. He perused that paper and it was a treasure map! There was a note at the bottom corner. The note was saying, 'You'll see some gold coins on the floor. Don't pick them. Only pick the box which is on a stone column.' Sahil was very happy to read it. He was approximately to go but he thought of his companions that they're destitute as well. He returned to them. He told them about everything and that note. At first they didn't believe him. But later they agreed.

They reached the cave. It was dark inside so one of them lit a torch. They found a room and went inside. It was full of gold coins. Sahil said everyone not to touch these gold coins but they thought that box may well be a trap for us and Sahil will take all the gold coins with him. So everyone took those coins and they burned to death. Sahil was starlted to see this. He moved forward and took that box. At that point, that old lady appeared. She told Sahil, "I just wanted to check your honesty. And you're a genuine man. You continuously offer assistance to others." She gave him a box of golds and diamonds.

After this, he helped a lot of poor people and gave his family a better life.
