To those complaining about the grammar, well all I can say is drop it. I don't mind if you drop it because of the grammar, but don't start having a hissy fit about it. I'm young, and it seems people always find a way to complain.

Some of the students were scared to the point of shaking, and even Mylo could see why.
it was a scary thought to introverts and loners. being the subject of thousands of stares.
unfortunately, that is how things go in this school
in its form, this is also a test.
a test to see if you can adapt to the social pressures of people, with which famous magicians have to deal constantly.
the door's behind Professor McGonagall opened, revealing a large banquet hall.
marvellous candles floated in the air, giving the room a sense of mystery, which is only reflected more by the beautiful enchanted night sky, which stars of all different shapes and sizes could be seen.
it was beautiful.
thousands of people scanned the newcomers, murmured whispers only shot down by the teachers overlooking the students.
it was an unfamiliar feeling for Mylo, but a.... welcome one.
he didn't feel the stress like Neville, who bowed his head forwards and kept a constant look at the shining floor.
Mylo wanted to motivate him, but it seemed his efforts were futile as they quickly all approached a stool with an inconspicuous hat that lay upon it.
this was no ordinary hat, however, as it was known simply as the sorting "hat"
the sorting hat should have existed, according to what we know of magic. magic that gave sentience to an item would break down in a couple of years, or a hundred years , depending on who cast it, but over 500 years was obscene. some say that the sorting hat is dark magic and someone's soul was sealed in there using forbidden magic.
any-how, it seemed that the first person was called up.
"Hermione Granger!"
He wasn't one to judge, but who calls their kid such a weird name?
The sorting hat came to life
"Gryffindor!"
Clapping came from the table of Gryffindor, as the girl he recognized as the person next to harry potter went to the table, of which a seat was made for her.
the sorting ceremony went, on and on, with no notable people going.
"Harry Potter!" Professor McGonagall loudly said, causing murmurs to fill the room
"Harry Potter?"
"The cursed child?"
"Hes real?"
"Duh."
A young boy with a reversed lightning scar on his forehead took to the hat.
he didn't seem anything special, with normal looks, normal attitude. but he had the aura that made him mysterious. he wasn't a normal human being.
The suitcase rattled.
"Not now, Nagi." Mylo sighed. when the mutation happened it seemed that Nagi's hunger grew alongside her.
the sorting had was placed on the young boy's head as the murmuring stopped. only the anxious waiting of who will receive the person who killed one of the strongest dark lords.
he couldn't hear what Harry was saying, but all he could hear was the sorting hats
"Not Slytherin you say?"
a set of booe's was heard from the Slytherin table, but a stern glance from Dumbledore shut them up.
"Grrrrryffindor!" The sorting hat seemed to be a bit of a drama queen as it rolled the words for Gryffindor.
the whole table stood up and gave a thunderous round of applause.
even Dumbledore , who only gave small hand taps for "Claps" made it obvious that he cared about harry more than the rest, which was nothing but understandable, to be honest.
when the applause stopped, the impatient Professor McGonagall rang out another name
"Neville Longbottom."
"Isnt he the..."
"Poor kid.."
"Yeah, I remember his name."
Mylo listened intently to the rumours, and even his face couldn't help but distort.
"The Cruciatus Curse.."
a crime against humanity if somebody even thought about casting it. the darkest of spells, and the hardest to cast. a one-way ticket to Azkaban awaited those who used it.
newfound respect was found for Neville before the sorting hat shouted
"Gryffindor!" there were little to non-claps, but those who clapped seemed to pity the shy and introverted boy.
"Luna Lovegood!" Professor McGonagall rang out
"Ravenclaw!" the moment the hat touched her head, the result was said.
"Mylo Scamander!"
His time was up,
slowly walking to the stool and sitting down, the instant voice of the sorting hat wasn't heard.
"Oh, a curious fellow you. the bravery of a Gryffindor, the cunning of a Slytherin, the kindness of a Hufflepuff and the wisdom of the Ravenclaw." The sorting hat rang out.
the houses were silent, and Albus Dumbledore raised his eyebrow.
"So, what will it be, boy?"
Gryffindor? no, he didn't fit in there. Slytherin? he was pure-blooded, but he didn't like their attitude. they could get them a couple of connections with high profile families if he was to befriend one of them, but they served little to no use to him. Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw was his main option here. Hufflepuff was a good and steady option, but their low ranking place in tournaments in the school and the events are concerning. Ravenclaw. this wasnt a baseless "Hufflepuff is weak" argument, as a key factor was Ravenclaw's access to knowledge. their dorm room was reportedly filled with knowledge and was a mini-sized version of Hogwarts libabry. they were known to have the same books as the libabry but that doesn't mean that applied to all of them.
foreign magic. it's what Mylo needs with his disabled and weak body.
the ritual circles of voodooism in Africa, the dark magic explored in Albania, the weapon magic in Russian magic. he needed it.
it may just be a few books, but those books may determine the course of his life
"I choose... Ravenclaw." Mylo muttered, as the sorting hat loudly exclaimed
"R-R-RAVENCLAW!"
loud claps emerged from the table of Ravenclaw as Mylo took a seat next to Luna.
his bright smile instantly dropped as his head turned towards a figure
"Rolf Scamander!"
