She kept running without even looking backwards; after she ran for a while, she spotted a cab and stopped it.
"I am going to..." She showed the paper to him, and he nodded before she got in.
"Why are you going to such a place at this hour?" he asked curiously.
"To see my mom"
"At such a lonely place?"
She nodded, and the driver took a proper look at her. "That place isn't safe; I heard some goons usually gather there to have fun."
"Goons?"
"Hmm, sometimes gunshots are heard there, but the cops never dared to check it out. So maybe you should rethink going there." He tried persuading her, but her mind was made up.
She couldn't miss the opportunity to see her mom. Seeing that her mind was made up, the driver kept quiet and drove in silence.
Grace walked down the cab with a confused look. "Is this the place?" she asked the driver, who nodded.
