Minglan gazed at Cass with confusion etched on her face. When he suddenly jumped, she was convinced he had met his demise. Just as she contemplated leaving, a noise caught her attention, and she observed him clambering back onto the roof.
It was a good thing she came to ensure his demise, Cass would die today. Minglan approached Cass, inquiring, "What happened, Cass?"
Cass, tilting his head, queried, "How did you know I was here?"
