Chapter 3

Fenrir sighed as he walked out of the huge hall alongside other students who were chattering happily.

He felt repulsed and wondered why they were happy. There was nothing to be happy about.

What great things were there in the school? He would have sneaked back home if not for the fact that his parents wouldn't be happy if he did that.

He didn't want to be in school and could only try to think of what to do in other to while away time.

But first, he had to get out of where he was as he was afraid he might start a massacre because the chattering of other students irritated him badly.

There had to be a place that no one knew about in the school where he could silently pass his time without having to be disturbed.

Well, it shouldn't be a problem for him to look for a place.

Fenrir sighed softly and made his way to the back of the building.

From the layout of the building, he was sure there would be some sort of garden.

Even though he still had doubts, he was confident about it as it was built in a way to make everything comfortable for the royals.

Well, he didn't give a damn about the Royals from the four clans, as long as they didn't cross his path, then there shouldn't be any problem.

"Ouch..."

A loud cry of pain was heard making Fenrir stop in his tracks.

He had just collided with a figure and cried out of pain. If not for the cry of pain, Fenrir wouldn't have stopped.

Well he didn't stop to apologize, he only stopped to make sure the figure wasn't dead.

"Where did you put your eyes while walking?" An angry feminine voice sounded, bringing Fenrir out of his thoughts.

Fenrir sighed and glanced at the figure whom he had just collided with and was now scolding him.

Immediately, his face paled slightly, wasn't this the girl who had helped him out when some fools were looking for death?

He hadn't expected to bump into her at this moment. This was a huge headache.

"You wouldn't even look at your front while walking?!"

"Where the hell are you rushing to?!"

A series of scoldings came from the girl.

"Who..."

Ellie froze just as she was about to continue scolding the person who had bumped into her.

"You!!"

She gritted her teeth, pointing a finger at Fenrir who was looking at her emotionlessly.

She was still brooding over the fact that the guy she tried to save had left without even saying a word of thanks when someone bumped into her.

Also, the person didn't even bother to apologize. Not until she scolded the person and looked up did she realize it was the person she had been looking for.

But still, even though he had bumped into her, he didn't have a look of remorse on his face.

Instead, he kept what looked like a poker face to her. Was he even a human?

How dare he maintain such a poker face in the face of her anger? Did he even know what his feelings were?

Also, he didn't even care to apologize for what he had done and was staring at her.

Now, she understood why Jake was so mad and was about to bully him. She wished she had never interfered and had let Jake bully him.

"You're standing in my way, witch!" Fenrir growled, staring intensely at Ellie.

"My name is Ellie, not witch!!" Ellie gritted her teeth pointing a finger at Fenrir.

"I don't care, just get out of my way!"

"Who the hell do you think you are? Talking to me this way!!" Ellie fumed as she stamped her feet on the floor out of anger.

"Fine!!" Fenrir muttered, feeling repulsed by Ellie's actions. If not for the fact that he couldn't bring himself to do it, she would have already been lying in a pool of blood.

He had already felt the mate bond between him and Ellie, but there was no way he was going to accept her.

But then he didn't want to reject her, he just wanted her to stay out of his life as he felt she might be a major problem for him.

Pushing all the thoughts to the back of his mind, Fenrir shoved Ellie aside.

"You..."

Ellie cursed again pointing at Fenrir who had shoved her aside and was making his way forward.

Luckily, they were in a deserted place so nobody witnessed the scene, or else she would have died from embarrassment.

She had always been confident of her beauty and was sure no one wouldn't be attracted to her.

But meeting Fenrir today who treated her like she was nonexistent, she felt the urge to make him acknowledge her.

Even though she didn't know the driving force behind what she was doing, all she knew was it was a rather involuntary action.

"You wait there!" Ellie yelled as she ran after Fenrir,

Tell me why you didn't thank me after saving your ass!" Ellie fumed putting her hand on her waist glaring at Fenrir as she blocked his way.

Fenrir's cold gaze swept over Ellie, making her shudder, but still, she continued to block his way.

"Out of my way!!" Fenrir growled as he tried to keep his anger in check.

"No!" Ellie pouted stubbornly even though she was a bit intimidated by Fenrir.

Fenrir sighed in anger when he saw that Ellie was being stubborn, he didn't want to hurt her, yet she was being stubborn.

What the hell did she want from him? The only saving grace was the fact that she was his mate and he didn't want to hurt her.

Otherwise, he would have laid her to waste as she was.

"First, what's your name and which clan do you come from!" Ellie pouted glaring at Fenrir.

"Fenrir!" Fenrir scowled as he replied, "As for which clan I came from, it's none of your business."

Even though he didn't know why he had replied to the girl in front of him he still did.

Ellie rolled her eyes hearing Fenrir's reply, the guy was sure arrogant to the bones, but then it didn't matter.

"Out of my way!" Fenrir said calmly after a while.

"Hold up," Ellie pouted, staring at Fenrir, "I'm not done with my questions!"

"I don't care!" Fenrir scowled.

"Arrogant brat!!" Ellie couldn't help but curse.

She didn't know why but no matter how much she wanted to get annoyed with the guy in front of her, she couldn't.

"I still have a question for you so you can't leave yet!" Ellie said as she continued blocking Fenrir's way.

"Why didn't you thank me when I saved you earlier!"

"Did I ask for your help?"

Ellie's mouth couldn't help but twitch when she heard Fenrir's reply.

Who the hell was this guy? Why was he so sharp-tongued?

"Out of my way lady!" Fenrir scowled and shoved Ellie to a corner. He couldn't stand the girl again, he had to leave or else he was afraid she might make him lose his temper.

Ellie's temper flared when Fenrir shoved her aside. How dare he treat her like this?

She had to make sure he paid for his actions or else she might lose face.

Immediately, she ran after Fenrir who had almost disappeared into the distance.

"Fenrir, you have to answer my question!!" Ellie yelled as she ran after him.

Fenrir couldn't help but shake his head when he noticed Ellie following him.

The girl didn't know her limits, he didn't want to lose his temper just because of her.

After a minute or two, Fenrir couldn't take it anymore and stopped in his tracks.

Ellie, who was running after Fenrir, was shocked when she saw him stop in his tracks.

There seemed to be a dangerous kind of aura surrounding Fenrir at this moment.

"Ellie, stop following me or else I'll kill you!" Fenrir said in a deep voice as he turned towards Ellie who stood rotted on a spot.

At that moment, the wind blew fluttering Fenrir's robes and his left eye was visible for about a moment before it was covered by his hair.

Fenrir turned around and left when he saw Ellie in a daze, he knew she must have been shocked by the sudden change in his actions.

Well, it was none of his business, he loved it as she was dazed because she wouldn't be able to pester him again.

At the very least, she would lose track of him by the time she came back to her senses.

Ellie on the other hand didn't come back to her senses not until about a minute or two after Fenrir left.

She was still in a daze with his majestic and condensing aura. Even though she was scared shitless by his threat, she couldn't help but admire him.

She couldn't help but swear that Fenrir's left eye was red when the wind blew his hair covering them.

She was mesmerized by it and couldn't think about anything at all.

Well, she knew there was no way she would be able to find him since she had lost track of him.

She could only hope that fate was going to bring them together again.

----

Fenrir sighed as she walked around the building, barely had he been able to find any place to his liking.

It was either too plain or that it was disgusting to him.

He hoped he was going to find a place where he would be able to find peace soon or else he was good to head back home.

After a while, Fenrir got tired of looking and decided to head back home.

"Help!!"

A scream of help drifted into his ears just as he was about to leave.

Frowning slightly, he walked toward where he heard the voice.

Soon, he came to an open place. Here there were different kinds of flowers arranged in such a way that gave off a sensational feeling.

But at the moment, the flowers were covered in blood.

Not far from the flowers, we're two figures.

One was a pale-looking male with blood on his lips. The other was a female who had a bite mark on her neck and was struggling against the grip of the male.

"A vampire draining a witch's blood!" Fenrir muttered with a smirk on his face when he saw the scene.

He had once heard that a vampire would become stronger when it drinks the blood of a witch or Werewolf.

He had never paid attention to it, but then it seemed it was the truth.

The two figures looked up abruptly when they heard Fenrir's footsteps.

"Please help me!!" The female figure screamed when she saw Fenrir.

"It would be in your best interest if you pretend you didn't witness anything." The man growled at Fenrir.

"Who said I was going to interfere?!" Fenrir smirked, staring at the two figures, his bloodlust growing.

"Huh!!" The two figures muttered in shock.

"That's the spirit boy!!" The vampire laughed after he recovered from his momentary shock.

"I'll owe you one, just don't tell anyone you saw me draining this witch's blood."

Fenrir smiled and didn't say anything, but at the moment his expression was already ashen and devoid of emotion.

The aura surrounding him had changed all of a sudden. It was like the God of death had descended into the supernatural Realm.you."He
