Chapter 1

"Mum, Dad, I'm off to school!" A teenager clad in a white robe yelled as he walked out of a rather small cottage.

There was a look of dissatisfaction on his face. His blue eyes looked so calm one wouldn't know what he was thinking.

They looked so deep that one would get lost if one stared too much into them. It was like the calm sea just before the troublent waves.

His black hair fluttered as the wind blew it making part of it cover one of his eyes.

The features of his face were as if it was carefully carved and placed there making him indescribably handsome.

"Fenrir, may the moon goddess be with you!" A feminine voice came at the moment followed by footsteps.

Soon, the figure of a woman with wrinkles all over her face came into view.

"Mum," Fenrir sighed as he stared at the woman who had rushed out of the cottage, there was a slight smile on his face,

"I'll be fine."

"I know you'll be fine, but at least make sure to make some friends." The woman sighed staring dotingly at Fenrir.

"Okay mum," Fenrir smiled.

"Make sure you come back early, tomorrow don't go wandering around. There has been news that vampires are killing werewolves." A masculine voice sounded just as Fenrir was about to walk off.

"Yes Dad," Fenrir smiled, turning to the male figure who had just stepped out of the cottage.

"Come give us a hug." Fenrir's mum smiled and stretched out her hands.

Fenrir smiled and walked towards his parents pulling them in a hug. After a while, he disengaged from the hug and turned away walking into the distance.

Fenrir couldn't help but smile as he remembered his parents' doting smile.

Even though they were not his real parents, they loved him and doted on him so that he never felt he was adopted.

He was also reluctant to leave his parents and go to school. The school was established by the four clans after the great war in order to maintain stability in the realm.

He wouldn't have gone if not for his parent's persuasion. They told him he couldn't continue to live the life he was living.

Ever since he had been adopted by the couple, he didn't have any friends as his parents were his best friends.

If he spent most of his time training especially since the time he found out he was a hybrid.

He was a werewolf and a demon. Even though he didn't know how to control his demon part.

It had always gone out of control anytime he was angry, though, he could partially use the power.

Even his parents didn't know he was a hybrid. He hid it from them afraid they might reject him if they knew.

He had always maintained a calm expression and would only smile in front of his parents, otherwise, he always kept a calm expression.

Though it was his first day at the so-called school, he wasn't nervous. At the very least he was just going to kill anyone who crossed his path.

Yeah, that was another of his secrets, he was a cold-blooded killer.

He would kill anyone who crossed his path without mercy as he was fueled with hatred towards the four clans.

He believed they were the cause of his misery even though he couldn't tell what misery it was.

All he knew was that his biological parents were killed by the four clans during the great war because of the flashes he does have.

There was once a time when a man had stomped into his adoptive parent's home demanding money.

His adoptive parents had borrowed a rather large sum of money from the man when Fenrir was first adopted to treat him because he was sick.

The next day, the man was found dead in cold blood in his house. Fenrir had killed the man that night because of what he had done to his parents.

There were many other incidents like that, but Fenrir was so good that he left no trace behind.

For all the people he killed, he never for once felt remorse as he felt they deserved it.

His burning hatred for the four clans could never be extinguished no matter the number of people he killed.

"You trash how dare you!" A hoarse voice sounded not far from Fenrir bringing him out of his thoughts.

Looking to the side, he saw some teenagers dressed in luxurious golden robes whipping and screaming at a girl with tattered robes.

Looking at the sight, Fenrir felt repulsed. If not for the self-control he had painstakingly built over the years, he would have rushed forward to kill them.

He wouldn't spare any of them, even the maid they were punishing. He wasn't a good person, to begin with.

Fenrir ignored the group of Werewolves' nobles punishing the maid. It was none of his business.

He feared he might just kill them all if he stayed at the scene.

Ignoring the scene, Fenrir continued his journey to the school. He felt it should be all good if no one was to cross his path.

Or else, he was going to wash the whole school in blood.

After about five minutes of walking, a huge building appeared in front of Fenrir.

Looking at the building, multiple emotions flashed in his eyes. He wouldn't have come to this goddamn place if it was not because of his parents.

He felt repulsed just by looking at the building. His small cottage where he lived with his parents was much better than the huge building he was seeing.

After a while, Fenrir sighed and his expression returned to normal. No one could predict what he was thinking. He was just like the boundless sea.

Fenrir took in a deep breath and walked into the building. He had to go to the hall for the orientation just as he had seen on the notice at the entrance.

The hallway was quite dark even though it was illuminated by candles. Other students passed by Fenrir while chatting excitedly, making him wonder why they were excited.

There was nothing to be excited about in this dumb school

The hallway was quite large enough to contain hundreds of people without getting packed.

But at the moment, only tens of students were walking around. Fenrir ignored all their presence and continued to make his way.

Suddenly, he collided with a figure making him stop a bit. After a while continued on his way not caring who he had hit.

"Hey!!" A hoarse voice called out to Fenrir, stopping him in his tracks.

"What do you want?" Fenrir scowled as he turned around slowly looking at the figure he had just collided with even though he knew it was not the figure who had just talked.

Looking at the figure, Fenrir thought he was bad. He was just a teenager like him with quite some build.

The aura he excluded was unique and in an instant, Fenrir knew he was a vampire.

"How audacious?" He muttered.

"Who the hell do you think you are? Bumping into our prince and acting as if nothing happened?" The hoarse voice came again bringing Fenrir out of his thoughts.

Fenrir looked at the figures standing beside the so-called prince with disdain. He couldn't be bothered about them as they were weaklings.

"How dare you ignore me?!" The voice came again.

"And what do you want?" Fenrir scowled, staring coldly at the figures.

The teenagers standing beside the prince felt a chill run down their spine when they met Fenrir's gaze.

Fenrir could care less about them and looked back at the guy he had bumped into. There was a slight smile on the guy's face.

"How dare you speak back? Apologize to our prince or else you'll face the consequences." The voice came once again after Fenrir's gaze left them.

There was no way they were going to be scared by the gaze of an ordinary werewolf when they had their prince beside them.

"And what if I don't?" Fenrir frowned.

"How dare you?!" The figure scowled.

"Once we are done with you, you'll be begging for mercy." The figure continued.

"Hmph.." Fenrir paused as he snorted coldly, "Fools!"

He wondered what these weaklings would be able to do to him. They probably won't know how they died.

"Guys beat him up!" The figure spoke again.

Immediately, the other figures rushed and surrounded Fenrir ready to attack.

Fenrir smiled coldly and looked at the prince who had a smile on his face.

Fenrir wasn't the type to give one a second chance, since they wanted to die he was going to grant them their wishes.

"Jake, what the hell do you think you're doing?!" A feminine voice came at the moment followed by hurried footsteps echoing throughout the hallway just as Fenrir was about to retaliate.
