The original Demon Emperor died in his past life after letting himself be killed by the annoying bugs he was tired of protecting. He asked the kind but busybody administrator of souls to erase his memories. He was reincarnated in the modern world but was bored to death due to the monotonous repetitive modern life. Likewise, he began to enjoy fantasy theme novels, manga, and anime to the point of obsession that he began going around the streets trying his luck for an isekai trip but death-chan avoided him like he was some kind of plague. At one point, a mortal god accidentally dropped his tea cup down to the mortal world, it turned into a powerful lighting electrocuting him to death. Death-chan who was hesitant to guide his soul, finally relented. He once again met with soul administrator-kun and this time he was given 5 free spins before he reincarnates. *There's a plot involved.* Worlds - Danmachi - Highschool Of The Dead Next World Candidates - Konosuba -

Rose Fannett

I'm currently in the guild.

The guild is also called the Pantheon.

In front of me is a gorgeous red haired mature werewolf woman.

She has long red hair and wears the guild uniform.

After receiving my Falna Miach advised me to head straight to the guild to finalize my registration as an adventurer.

My short journey to the guild is mostly uneventful except for a few curious glances mostly coming from a number of women looking at me as if I'm some sort of rare piece of meat on the platter.

There's also a couple of men who gave me envious looks seeing how much attention I'm getting from the woman around town.

I cannot blame them.

I'm just too good-looking and great.

I had long grown accustomed to such envious glances even back on Earth.

The world isn't fair.

The guild is a wide space with many counters to accommodate adventurers to talk with their advisors and exchange areas for magic stones.

There are also small meeting boxes where adventurers can talk one on one with their advisor without anyone else hearing them and I'm inside one of such private rooms signing a bunch of documents for me to finally become an official adventurer.

Aside from these places there's also a library on the back.

The library is desolated, no person can be spotted except for a few guild employees moving about.

A large majority of adventurers usually cannot read or write so spotting an adventurer in the library is as rare as spotting a Jack Bird in the dungeon.

"Miss Rose I'm already done filling up the papers."

I said handing her the stock of papers.

I never thought that becoming an adventurer is such a hassle.

Too many papers so sign.

There was even some sort of insurance the guild provided to all adventurers.

I never knew of that until now.

The anime and manga didn't really go into deep details about guild stuff so getting to know a thing about the story that wasn't mentioned is a bit exhilarating to me.

Miss Rose after receiving the papers began checking each one trying to make sure I didn't forget anything.

"Everything is good, welcome to Orario, Sir Garcia."

She said to me in a formal tone befitting her image of a serious stoic woman.

She reminds me of Ryuu.

"Please just call me Seji."

I replied with a gentle smile.

She looks me in the eyes for a second and I can see hesitation in her own eyes.

It can't be helped.

We just met.

But looking at my charming and friendly smile she gave up and took a deep breath.

"You can also call me Rose from now on."

She didn't really like to be all chummy and friendly with adventurers after losing a bunch of them in her time working in the guild but seeing the genuine look the young man is giving her she couldn't help but open up her long sealed heart.

"Then I will call you Rose from now on."

His voice is like a gentle fire trying to melt her long frozen heart and she couldn't help but enjoy the warmth it gave off.

Unbeknownst to Seji every time he speaks his extra skills [Soul Manipulation] and [Mind Manipulation] is affecting the people around him in a positive way.

This is due to his unique skill [Ameliorate] hidden effects which passively makes everyone that isn't considered an enemy or anything that could bring harm to him become a better version of themselves at some point or another.

Trauma, anxiety, fears, defects and other negative concepts that affect a person's mind, soul, physical body and even curses aren't an exception and will slowly be purified and this effect will stay so long Seji is around.

Not in a literal sense.

So long Seji is alive.

Furthermore, the more positive he looks at someone or something the greater the effect.

"May I ask, do you need a guild advisor?"

She asked in concern.

It is sad to lose someone like Seji.

She didn't know why but the little time she stayed close to him gave her so much of a great comfort and she didn't want that comfort to suddenly disappear.

Though it's not to the point that she wouldn't want to part ways.

"Advisor you say, I probably don't need one."

Seji quickly noticed a slight twitch on Rose ears after hearing his reply.

.

She's probably thinking I'm one of those overconfident fools.

I couldn't blame her.

Becoming an adventurer is basically putting one foot in the grave.

She probably saw too much death seeing how her eyes had become a bit dull.

She's just concerned about my safety even though she didn't show it in the outside.

"You see miss Rose I would prefer exploring things on my own.

Is the library available for adventurers I would like to pay it a visit one of these days."

"The library? It's accessible to anyone but what does it have to do with having an advisor?"

"You see books contains a lot information and what I need right now is information.

The library should contain a bunch of books and not just about the dungeon but also in other subjects."

"You're right but…"

I stopped her by placing my finger on her lips.

I then realized it was a bad move but seeing Rose not reacting negatively to my action I continued.

"If you insist, you must become my guild advisor."

I told her teasingly.

I can see her stoic expression crumbling a second later before giving me a fierce glare.

"You're well versed in sweet talks Mr. Garcia."

She stopped using my first name.

"It's not that I'm well versed, it's more like I must become well versed."

"Is that so…"

After slapping me on the face for touching her without consent we parted ways.

I left the private room, some people saw the red mark on my face a clear result from that of a slap, the ones who knew I was with miss Rose gave me approving thumbs up for a job well done.

Usually I would ignore such people but sensing that their intentions are genuine I leave them with a smile.

The girls of these groups felt their hearts fluttering while the male ones hid the slight blush on their faces.

Damn-

That was a mistake.

I'm straight…

The update and the chapter is unsatisfactory for me.

My bad I have a flu and a cold at the same time and ideas is hard to come by at times like this.
