Talking with Judy

The group arrived at the basement finding Judy talking with Susie the leader of the Mox. They were having a hefty conversation with each other when Susie notices that Judy looked behind her.

"John and Nesiara, it is nice to see you again," says Susie as she was pissed because of Judy at the moment.

"Suze, how is it going?" asks Nesiara making Susie sigh.

"The situation is better thanks to you two but still one of my girls has brought some Corpos at my doorsteps which could endanger all of my girls," says Susie trying to make Judy see why she was angry with her.

"Maybe you two can make her understand that," says Susie as she leaves knowing that she has done enough damage to Judy even if she didn't want to do so.

"We will take care of the Corpos if they come again," says Nesiara seriously to Susie telling her that they aren't afraid of the Corporations that are ruling the world.

Susie leaves smiling while the couple and V entered Judy's workplace who frustrated hits her chair making it spin for a while as she places her hands against the wall before closing her eyes and taking a deep breath in.

"Judy, I need your help," says V seriously as Johnny appears beside her.

"Not a good idea, V," says Johnny as what he said came true with Judy grabbing the first thing she saw on her table and throwing it at V viciously.

V catches the object easily before seeing that it was just a gun that wasn't loaded when V asks angrily, "Are you crazy?"

"YOU!" shouts Judy at V angrily and frustrated before she walks up to V grabbing her by her shirt unafraid before continuing, "IT IS ALL YOUR FAULT! IF YOU HADN'T SCREWED UP YOUR GODDAMN JOB!"

"YOU DARE TO TELL ME HOW I AM SUPPOSED TO DO MY JOB!" shouts V back angry as well.

"Catfight," says Johnny making Nesiara roll her eyes before she looks at John.

John steps in and says coldly, "Enough."

This made V and Judy stop since his voice frightened them when he says, "You both sound like a couple with serious problems."

Both were caught off guard by that joke when John turned serious again and he says in a calm tone, "It doesn't help neither of you two to fight against each other. You need to work together or we won't get anywhere."

"Fine," says Judy calm again as she let go of V's shirt.

She walks to her chair and sits down before looking at V suspiciously when John says, "V went through a lot the last few days. You could say that she is Christ going by the wonder she experienced."

"Christ?" asks Judy confused with the comparison.

"She came back from the dead. It didn't take her three days like Christ that is true but after a week of being dead, she returned to us," says Nesiara as she sits down.

"She was dead?" asks Judy surprised as V shows Judy the necklace she is wearing which has the bullet that was in her brain as decoration on it.

"Pretty much, Dexter DeShawn put a bullet in my cranium. I am only alive because of the biochip I had to steal for Evelyn. But now I need help to remove it since it is killing me," says V seriously making Judy feel bad for leashing out some moments ago.

"I came because I needed your help in finding Evelyn but it seems you don't know her whereabouts yourself so how about we work together to find her," says V suggesting to Judy to work together to find Evelyn.

Judy opens one of the shelves of her desk and gets an elegant case out before throwing it at V who catches it and looks at her confused.

"Look inside," says Judy as V opens the case finding cigarettes inside before she sees a business card in it.

"The Clouds, did she work there?" asks V seeing it.

"Yes, but I can't show myself there because of some personal problems," says Judy holding her head when V closes the cigarette case again giving it back to Judy since it seemed to be the only thing that she had of Evelyn.

"Keep it. I don't smoke and I would rather have you that damn thing than I because I don't want to start again," says Judy since the case was a temptation to start again.

"I am a no smoker as well," says V as she didn't want to have the case near her because of what happened yesterday when John takes it from her hands.

"I will take it as payment since it looks cool and someone I know will definitely like it," says John putting it away and helping both of them by doing so.

"Next stop, Clouds. We will call you if we find something, Judy," says Nesiara standing up as she was prepared to leave.

"I will talk to you later, Judy," says V before joining Nesiara.

They leave and John looks at V and says, "She is a nice girl."

"She is, I can understand her frustration," says V honest as John smiles at her.

They enter the backstage room meeting Susie again as they said their goodbye to her before leaving Lizzie's Bar. They walk for a bit before V calls her car so she could drive to their destination while John and Nesiara join her.

They arrive at the Megabuilding H8 when V notices a strange vending machine that seemed to be more of an advance and learning A.I. than just a normal program.

It talked as if it was a normal person until it attack her confirming her suspicion before it apologized for what it did thinking that V came to shut it down since many people complained about it being too creepy.

Once done with the vending machine they entered the building going straight for the elevator when V asks, "Are we doing it stealthily or are we confronting them head-on?"

"How about we begin with stealthy before going all out. We need to find out about what happened to Evelyn," says Nesiara giving her suggestion.

"I agree with Nes, we need clues before blasting everyone's face away," says John supporting Nesiara's advice.

They arrive at the floor of the Clouds when John and Nesiara suddenly became invisible while John says, "We will be right behind you."

"Like two guardian angels," says V sarcastically about the situation when Johnny appears before her.

"Better than having no chump around for this gig," says Johnny playing with his glasses.

"Do I really need to take an Omega Blocker to shut you up, Johnny? I thought you learned your lesson," says V remembering Johnny that she took one of them last night after he made her buy cigarettes for him.

"Right, we won't be friends this easily after using your trust against you," says Johnny before disappearing again while people were looking at V as if she was crazy for talking to herself.

"Mind your own business," says V to the bystanders who did immediately, not wanting to receive V's fury.

V continued to the Clouds arriving there she was asked to link herself with the terminal which she didn't need to do thanks to Nesiara's help who made an illusion of V connecting with the terminal while the receptionist looked at a blank page while seeing some of V's information.

"We found two matches for you. Who do you want Angel or Skye?" asks the receptionist when Nesiara whispers Skye into V's ears.

"Skye," says V not knowing what or who she just selected as the receptionist types it into the computer.

"You can enter but remember that you need to put your weapons into one of the lockers. You can retrieve them after you are done," says the receptionist as V goes through the scanner without a problem as did John and Nesiara.

V does as if she is putting her guns into the locker with some help from Nesiara before entering the club.

She walks for a moment when John says, "It is booth 9 we will be waiting for you in booth 11."

"Wait, why do I need to go to a different booth?" asks V skeptical when John pushes her forward.

"Just enjoy some time with the person before we begin our investigation," says John to her as he wanted her to enjoy her stay for a while leaving her stress and anxiety out.

"You almost sound like the father I never had," says V joking about it since she saw John as her father figure since she only knew her mother because her father abandoned them.

V leaves them as the couple enters booth 11. They look around going through everything that the NCPD could have missed.

Nesiara looked around before she says, "The girl is still alive. I can't see remaining of her soul that a dead person would leave behind."

"At least one good news. We should have done this thing earlier instead of leaving it to Valerie," says John feeling bad for Evelyn.

"I know what you mean but we have to do our job which is helping V to get to Mikoshi," says Nesiara reminding John and herself of their mission.

"But if we make some sightseeing along the way it won't hurt," says Nesiara as she uses magic so they could see what happened to Evelyn at the last moments of her time in Clouds.

They were seeing how Evelyn received a system overload through a hack when V enters the booth seeing the couple looking at something when she asks, "What have you found out?"

"Evelyn suffered a System Overload. We think that someone hacked into her system to show her a lesson but it didn't kill her," says Nesiara as V looked seriously at the couple.

"Was it Arasaka?" asks V nervous as the couple shakes their heads.

"Arasaka would have appeared in the Clouds and killed everyone to make an example out of them to show the world what happens when you mess with Arasaka. It must be someone that doesn't want to be found by Arasaka by eliminating Evelyn first," says John making V feel angry from hearing that.

"But if that is the case the owner of the Clouds should know more right?" asks V rhetorically as the couple understood what wanted to say with that.

V pulled her gun out as did Nesiara while John just held Yamato before they all leave the booth to get to the boss of the Clouds.
