Tailed Beasts

They enter the Temple in which the Great Toad Sage lives in when the green toad named Fukasaku says, "We are almost there. The last time the Great Toad Sage was this excited was when a good friend arrived for the first time."

"And he was?" asks John as Fukasaku shakes his head.

"Even if I told you, you wouldn't know him," says Fukasaku as they arrived in front of the Great Toad Sage and says, "I brought them as you asked from me, Great Toad Sage."

The Great Toad Sage didn't move and looked like he died until Fukasaku woke it up and it says, "Ah, Fukasaku you are back this early. I thought you might take some time to find our guest."

"They were already quite near when they arrived and were found by Gamakichi and his younger brother Gamatatsu," says Fukasaku as he talked respectfully when the Great Toad Sage opened his eyes wide and looked at both Kirito and John a little bit closer up.

"I see tragedy in your path boy. You will lose something important to you but you will find a way to recuperate it thanks to your friends' help. Then you will fall into a coma because you didn't listen to your friends and let some people go when you should have killed them. But I can also see how you will grow from that experience. Maybe the younglings of our clan can help you in your world," says the Great Toad Sage as he looked at Kirito before looking at John and almost collapsing.

"Your path isn't written at all. It's open like a book that is blank. Only you can decide your fate John Parker or should I call you by your future name Godking Reyes. You will also have some tragedies in your life but you will grow stronger through them as well as your wife Godqueen Reyes. But that's no wonder she is a Wyrm after all and Great-Granddaughter of Logan Wyrm," says The Great Toad Sage as Fukasaku opens his eyes wide looking at John.

"Also your Grandfather is Logan's brother if my vision is correct. This makes it that both of you are reuniting a family again by blood it's no wonder that both Jack and Logan were looking for a new family name for you both as you will be a bridge between both families being reunited again," says the Great Toad Sage before falling asleep again on his chair.

"It seems he allowed your friend to become someone able to summon us. Come with me," says Fukasaku as he brought them to a scroll and explained to Kirito what he had to do.

Kirito thought he couldn't bleed since it was a game character he was using right now when suddenly blood shoot out of his finger while writing his name in the scroll and leaving his fingerprints behind.

Then Kirito asks, "Is everything done?"

"Everything is done. Both can return to your world now by using the summoning jutsu. Or maybe you want to stay for dinner," says Fukasaku as he sees John putting his hand on Kirito's shoulder while Kirito performed the summoning jutsu.

"Maybe another time," says John as both disappear in the smoke before appearing back in Aincrad.

John looks around to find Nesiara and Asuna waiting for them while Asuna had a little slug on her shoulder and John says, "So you helped Asuna with it."

"I needed something to do since my date ditched me when I closed my eyes to relax a bit," says Nesiara as John sits down beside her.

"I'm sorry," says John as he hugs Nesiara when she kisses him.

"I can understand it if a friend asks for help. But inform me before you leave," says Nesiara with a smile as both laid in their arm kissing each other making Asuna and Kirito turn red.

"I think we should stop and entertain our guests. How about we go home for now," says John as he sees both embarrassed from seeing them this wild.

They go to their home with Asuna and Kirito to have dinner together when Kirito asks, "How long will it take you to clear the next floor?"

"A week maybe more. They are changing after all and it's hard to predict how strong they are. The last one was quite strong even if we overpowered him," says John as he eats the leftover sandwiches that Nesiara made for the picnic while she was cooking dinner with Asuna.

"So he was that strong," says Kirito worried.

"Sooner or later I will need help to defeat a boss so keep getting stronger. Sooner or later I and Nesiara alone won't be able to defeat the Floor Bosses," says John as he informed Kirito over the cold truth that they couldn't rely only on John and Nesiara to clear the game.

"You ready to eat?" asks Nesiara as she placed the food on the table with Asuna as they ate together making Asuna and Kirito find new respect for John's stomach that ate as if there was no tomorrow.

They stayed the night over as John and Nesiara shared a bed while Asuna used the other bed and Kirito used the couch to sleep.

The next morning they had breakfast together and Kirito, as well as Asuna, went on their way while the couple stayed on the 22nd floor. They went for some romantic walks and picnics for a week when John remembered what Justice told him about the Tailed Beasts that life in Paradise.

"How about we go and make some contracts with said Tailed Beasts too. We could need their help on higher floors," says John as Nesiara was curious as well.

"Yes, we should. I really want to know who they are," says Nesiara as she grabs John and both disappear and appear in Paradise. They appeared in the living room and she says, "So it does work. Now I know how my Great-Grandfather could appear that fast everywhere if needed."

Nesiara used Hiraishin to appear in Paradise as John was surprised that Nesiara could use it as he never trained it since he had Yamato and Magic thinking that would be sufficient for transportation.

"I might need to learn the jutsu when we have time later," says John as he liked how fast it was.

"Let's search for said Tailed Beasts shall we," says Nesiara dragging John out of the house when the find the blue cat sleeping over the dog house of Ronnie.

"So this is a Tailed Beast. I can see why Tailed Beast since she has two tails," says John as he examined the cat that was pretending to sleep.

"So you found out," says the cat surprising both as it stood up and jumped down from the dog house and continues, "When you first entered Paradise I thought Logan was back with one of his children but then I caught a feminine smell and knew it couldn't be Logan so I hide my presence from both of you."

The cat was outside the courtyard as it suddenly turned big making a giant cat that was on fire appear as she says, "My name is Matatabi, the Second Tailed Beast. I know that the girl is a Wyrm since she has almost the same presence as Logan but who are you?"

"John Parker, my grandfather and Logan are brothers though not through blood since both were brothers before they reincarnated," says John as he was grabbed by Nesiara.

"And we are a couple so behave," says Nesiara as Matatabi began to laugh at what Nesiara just said.

"Girl we aren't bound to Logan like Ryuu is. We don't follow his commands because we are bound to him but because we respect him for who he is," says Matatabi as she circles around the couple before saying, "If you really want to have a contract with us you should learn more about us and our way of living as well as our personalities. Every Tailed Beast is different."

"So you won't make a contract with us?" asks Nesiara as Matatabi laughs.

"We never made one with Logan before. He gave us something and we returned the favor," says Matatabi as she sits down in front of them.

"So you were treated fair that's what you want to say right," says John as Matatabi nods.

"That's right we wouldn't follow someone that would just exploit us without seeing us as persons," says Matatabi as she walked a bit nearer to them and continues, "But Logan didn't treat us as persons but more like a family that's why all the beasts that lived once in Paradise respected his decisions when he took an egg or a pup away from them since they knew he wouldn't hand them over to irresponsible people."

Matatabi stopped again right in front of them and asks, "Can you do the same?"

"I can and John too. He might not show it on his face but he can worry pretty much about his friends," says Nesiara as they didn't realize that they were surrounded by another eight fluffy beasts.

They had different numbers of tails making the two realize that they must be the other eight tailed beasts and Matatabi says, "What do you all think? They get my vote."

"They seem trustworthy and the Black Tortoise clan wouldn't allow an arrogant person to become their summoner. I lived enough years with them in the same lake," says Isobu as he agreed making Gyuki agree as well.

"I trust your instincts Matatabi," says Kokuo as he voted for it as well.

"I'm against it. I just want to live in peace," says Shukaku as he loved living in his personal desert without a worry.

"I agree with Shukaku," say Son Goku, Saiken, and Chomei since they loved the peace they were feeling making Matatabi feel that this will result in her loss since Kurama wouldn't agree to help them.

"Tell me one thing you two if you could find a jutsu to seal us inside someone's body and make him stronger by imprisoning us. Would you do that?" asks Kurama wanting to know if they will tell the trust or lie to him.

"It would depend on the situation," says John honest as Kurama was listening attentively and John continues, "If I could save a life by sealing you into someone for a short duration I would do it. You might hate it but it would only be temporary until the person is recuperated when I would release you again."

"A dumb answer but at least honest now you girl what would you do?" says Kurama as he now tests Nesiara.

"I don't know maybe the same as John but maybe seal only a portion of your chakra into the person since your whole chakra could be dangerous in a normal person," says Nesiara as Kurama got his answers.

"I will give you a condition since neither of you lied to us," says Kurama as he smiles finding honest people after a long time and continues, "Learn some Medical Ninjutsu they can do the same effect then sealing us inside someone to heal him. You don't really need us with your chakra reserves."

"Understood," say both as Kurama then turns around after putting a big scroll on the ground.

"From today on you have a contract with us. But you aren't completely done yet," says Kurama as he looks at Matatabi and says, "You will explain to them what this scroll contains."

Then Kurama leaves as Shukaku wanted to say something to him but he ignored him making the group of beasts laugh seeing the scene as they all disperse to their areas leaving only Matatabi behind.
