Piercing Rebellion into Dante

John was ascending the tower slowly but without being seen by anyone thanks to Sparda helping him. Nesiara on the other hand didn't go to the tower but was outside keeping the demons at bay.

Nora was like her father but she had to fight her way up when she found the bike Lady was using. The floor was full of bullets and shells but there was no blood making Nora sigh in relief without knowing why she did that.

"Why did I sigh in relief?" asks Nora herself as she looked at her sword.

She closed her eyes for a moment as the eyes of Lady stared back at her before she opened them again while saying, "Why can't I forget those eyes?"

"Oh, a girl in love," says a voice joking around as Nora pulled her sword and pointed it towards the voice.

"Say that again and you will lose your life," says Nora coldly as she sees a demon with a long nose in a black jester outfit.

"Now now, how about we calm down. I haven't done anything bad to you," says the Jester as Nora didn't remove the sword but placed it even closer to his throat.

"Talk demon, what do you want?" asks Nora as she glared coldly at the jester making him understand that she didn't want to hear a joke.

"The actual owner of the tower wanted me to see who is disturbing his plan since he only invited his younger brother," says the jester as Nora moved her sword away from his throat.

"Tell him that I came to stop him. He and his brother aren't the only ones with the blood of Sparda in their veins," says Nora as she turned her back to the jester who was speechless.

He never heard that Sparda had a daughter. But it was his opportunity to get Sparda's blood not needing the blood of the other two fools.

He rushes at Nora who pierced the ground and Lancelot appears to protect his Queen. The Jester sees this and runs away as fast as possible not wanting to mess with her protector.

"We are in a place with dense demonic energy. This isn't the best place for you to be, my Queen," says Lancelot as Nora removes Excalibur from the ground.

"I know, but we can't change it since the mission of my parents led me here," says Nora as she sheathed Excalibur again.

"I want you to follow him quietly. I need to know what his plan is," says Nora serious as she continues walking forward while Lancelot kneels down.

"Of course, my Queen," says Lancelot as he disappears to spy on the jester.

John arrived at a library and looks at the books when he takes one out and reads a bit in it before putting it back. He then walked for a bit and with his fingers touching the books until arriving at a specific book which he pulls and a secret entrance opens for him.

John then puts the book in its original state so the person following won't be able to follow him. He entered the secret entrance and closed it behind himself.

He continued to walk towards the top when he hears a growl coming from the person that was following him because she couldn't find him.

'Sorry there, Lady. But I can't take you with me. It is too dangerous for someone like you,' thinks John as he continued as if he didn't even hear her.

He was almost at the top. He was taking his time since Dante would need some time to reach the top not as he would by going this way. And true to his thought, John arrived there before Dante as the person across him was Vergil the oldest son of Sparda.

"Who are you and why are you interrupting something that I was planning for years?" asks Vergil as John walked towards him.

"I am not here to interrupt anything but to take Sparda's power as I promised him. He asked me to take it if one of his sons would try to take it for himself," says John as he walked forward when Vergil rushes at him with his hand on his katana.

John sees that and the same moment Vergil wanted to strike him down, Yamato appears in his hand and blocked the attack of Vergil. Vergil was shocked to see the same sword in John's hands when John pushes him back using a bit of his strength.

"Why do you-," says Vergil before he was interrupted by John.

"Do you think Yamato is unique or that you are the only one that can use Yamato because you have his blood," says John as Vergil activated his Devil Trigger.

He rushed at John again only to find out that John was indifferent before he also activated his True Devil Trigger showing the true strength of Sparda's blood to Vergil.

"What are you?" asks Vergil as he was blocked again by John who pushed Vergil back again.

"You could see me as your uncle since I and Sparda share the same blood," says John as he now rushed at Vergil.

Vergil could see him one moment and the next John just vanished and Yamato was at his throat when suddenly a two-hander came flying towards John from behind him.

John manifested his Devilsword in his back which blocked the sword that approached him. John used the force generated from the impact and played along flying toward the direction it would send me.

"I never heard of our father having a brother," says Dante as he then looked at Vergil and says, "It seems, I saved your life."

"Don't kid yourself. If he really wanted me dead, I wouldn't be speaking to you," says Vergil realizing how weak he was in front of John.

"That was quite a push you gave me boy. But it didn't hurt at all," says John as he appears behind them still in TDT when he grabbed both their heads and crushed them against the ground.

"You should learn to respect your elders," says John as he let go of their heads when he grabbed Rebellion from Dante's hands and turned him around to face him.

"It is time to awaken and accept your heritage. Not all demons seek destruction some just want to live in peace between the people but for that, they need someone to protect them as well," says John as Dante was confused why John was telling him that when suddenly Rebellion was pierced through his chest and into the ground.

John took his necklace as he took an unconscious Vergil with him leaving a dying Dante behind who begins to lose consciousness until Rebellion seemed to cry out and Dante awakens his Devil Trigger for the first time as Rebellion jumps out of Dante's body.

Dante stands up still unconscious as his instinct took control of his body. He grabbed Rebellion and walked towards the edge of the tower only to fall into the abyss holding his sword in front.

Nora who was ascending the tower slowly looks out of the window and sees Dante pass her making Nora look confused at him while he had a smile on his face as he seemed almost like a comet that was going to crash into the ground.

In the meantime, Vergil wakes up having both necklaces in his possession while John wasn't near him at all.

John was making sure that Dante didn't die because of the stunt he pulled and found nothing at the top making him sigh in relief that he didn't kill Dante.

He returned to where he left Vergil only to not find him there making it obvious that Vergil went to the ceremony room to drip his blood to open the gate to the demon world so he could attain Sparda's power.

"*sighs* I shouldn't have left him alone," says John as he went to look for Vergil.

In the meantime, Nora arrived at the library finding Lady there looking still looking for a way to move forward.

"You won't be able to advance any further if you keep looking for the way instead of looking for the trigger to open the way," says Nora seeing Lady looking for the secret passage.

"You again, why are you here?" asks Lady as she turned to Nora holding her gun ready to shot at Nora.

"I'm here to shut this down with my mother and father," says Nora as she sees that Lady was hesitant to shot her.

"It seems you have met one of them already since you aren't attacking me," says Nora as Lady puts her gun down.

"John Crownguard," says Lady as Nora nods.

"Nora Crownguard, I am his daughter," says Nora as she walked towards a book and pulled it opening the secret entrance for them.

"Maybe we should stick together for now. My knowledge might be useful in the long run while I need someone to cover my back," says Nora as Lady seemed to think about it.

"Can you answer me a question first?" asks Lady as Nora smiles.

"Only if I get your name. You still haven't presented yourself," says Nora as Lady scratches her head.

"My name is Lady," says Lady making Nora smile when she asks, "What did your father mean with he needs to be a villain?"

Nora turned serious as Lady could see that it was something, not good when Nora says, "Did my father say that to you when you met before."

Lady nods and Nora pulled her sword out while saying, "Then we should hurry. My father is calculative when he turns into a villain. He could do something no one of us can imagine and except for my mother no one can stop him."

"And your mother is where?" asks Lady as Nora pierced the ground and summoned Galahad to her side.

"My Lady," says Galahad as he kneeled before both.

"Can you inform my mother about what my father going crazy turning into a villain," says Nora as Galahad nods.

"I will inform her right away," says Galahad as he disappears while Lady was looking at Nora surprised when Nora pulled out her sword from the ground.

"We should continue. My mother shall join us sooner or later," says Nora as she took the lead of their little group.
