“Y-You’re kidding!” full of rage, a 15-year-old girl, Sigrid can’t help but tone up her voice out of frustration. She just found out that she wasn’t a real daughter of their family but instead, a princess of their kingdom. She only wants to be a normal lady who can live peacefully and inherit their family’s knowledge and power. But never thought about being a princess because she herself knows how hard it is to fulfill the role of being one. The problem that crossed her mind is the person that’s currently filling her place as a princess, Ariadne. They once were acquainted because of the tea party that the princess made, she adored her for how beautiful and generous her highness is. By knowing that she’s the real successor of the throne, how will she face the incoming hardships? “I, Sigrid, is the rightful owner of that throne.”
The location from where she is right now feels so familiar to her that she didn't notice the tears that's coming out from her eyes. "Forest..."
The flower not so far from her is what caught her attention. "Aquilegia flower?" the tear from her eyes directly fell from the petal of the flower she's holding. "I just hope my tear ducts are still fine," she let out a small laugh.
"Well, I guess it's fine to cry this much since it's been a while since I last did," she moves the flower to her nose, sniffing it. "Still fragrant as ever, my Aquilegia,"
Some may find it weird, but ever since she was a kid, her attention and affection towards this flower isn't normal. She may find the other flowers aromatic, but the connection she has towards it is faint, unlike the Aquilegia.
After being satisfied looking at it as if she was talking and embracing it, she eyed the whole place. "Lake?" She walks towards it and the tree from the other side of the lake is what urges her to roam around this forest.
"Is that a bird's nest?" she hurriedly goes into the lake, not minding her dress and shoes to get wet. "The water is warm!" She looks at the sky, it looks just like past noon, the feeling made her take a bath first but the urge of looking at the bird nest is stronger than her urge of taking a bath.
"Ah! I can do it later!" she said, as if trying to surpass her urge of taking a bath in the lake, "I might also fall asleep if I take a bath," saying the word 'falling asleep', she had goosebumps, she hasn't seen anyone besides her in this place. "I wonder where Amy is..."
Finally, she gets across the lake. "Woah! That feels great," looking back at it, it's been a while since she swam. She squeezes the lower part of her dress to take the excess water off, she also took her shoes off, but the moment she did, she felt that she's in cloud nine. "The grass is soft!" holding her shoes, she ran around the place like a kid.
After running to her heart's content, she slumps herself to the grass. "It doesn't hurt either!" She stopped herself from taking a bath in the lake for the fear that she might fall asleep, but what just happened to her because of the grass didn't make any difference from taking a bath.
It's only a matter of time for her to finally reach the dream land when she hears a cracking sound not so far from her. Out of curiosity, she stood up and tried to find where exactly the sound came from. "It should be around this area..." she's only steps away from the bird's nest that made her cross the lake. "I forgot about you!"
She excitedly runs towards it, but what surprised her is the beings that are in the bird nest. "Eggs!?" she shouted. She was about to cover her mouth using her hands because of the sound she made but she remembers that she's the only person that's currently in the forest.
The eggs once again made a cracking noise, "It's hatching!" she said excitedly. She then counts the number of the eggs, "Six? They're hatching all together! Where are their mom?!" She panicked for a moment, but a noise from the bird caught her attention.
"You're pretty!" anyone can see the sparkles in her eyes. And because of her noisy mouth, the bird can't help but to look at her.
It's chirping and trying to familiarize her. "Are you trying to find your mom? I don't know where she is..." out of pity, she placed the small bird onto her palm and the other birds who she didn't see that also came out of their shells, copied the first one to go on her palm. "Wait! Six birds are too much!" the birds are continuing to go on her palm which makes her place her other palm together.
The little birds are finally in her palms but what made her panics once again is the other one who almost fell out. "Careful, careful!" looking at her situation, these birds just made her their nest! "You clearly have your own place..."
She then placed the birds in their nest when she saw them asleep, "Do birds usually fall asleep right after they came out of their shells?" she then wiped the sweat on her forehead using the back of her hand, after looking up at the sky, she heard and saw a big bird, screeching.
Out of fear, she ran out of that place, but still not so far from the bird nest, "Your children are safe!" she whispered loudly. After she watched the mother bird for a while, she decided to take a nap to build her energy.
She found herself on her bed and that's what shocked her the most. "Huh?!" she hurriedly gets out of the bed to go to her window, she isn't satisfied so she looks at the clock on the wall, "8 o'clock in the morning?" the vibe that enveloped her is different from the vibrant she felt in the forest, was it all just a dream?
