After leaving Helen's residence with a heavy mood he quickly called Bernadette to ask her if she had time to meet him today. He knew that she would likely be busy for the next three days.
He was relieved when she replied, "I'm never too busy for you, sweetheart. Let's meet at your hotel, I'm closer to it than home."
"I'll be there in ten." He said and got on his bike and sped away, heading to Sapphire hotels.
He was now very eager to solve this case and he would do everything possible to make sure that he found the killer. Today he had many things to do. First, he had to talk with the owner of the warehouse and it so happened to be his friend, Old Steve.
He was the one who helped him get his apartment in Raymond Street at a cheaper cost and conditions. He hadn't been in touch with the fellow for over two months.
