Finally Breaking The Ice
Earl was a little bit unclear about his feelings for Ruth. On the one hand he really likes her. The way she behaved, the way she spoke, the way she was calm and took on all competition, how she always melted his heart with her smile.
She was a gentle yet feisty woman who managed to make his heart skip with her every sweep of the hair. Yet on the other hand he was a bit apprehensive towards his feelings for her.
How could he love someone he barely knew? Someone who rarely talked about herself with him and often times treated him like an outsider… well; he wasn't really an insider so to speak.
Ruth seemed too secretive and always quick to divert the topic of discussion whenever it mirrored to her personal life and stuffs like that. He was also very worried about their not so 'daylight' relationship and how he could only see her at nights.
