"I Can't Do It"
"Go ahead and do it." Bryan sniffled. "I deserve it and more."
"No you don't want to do this…"
"Stay out of this!" Emily snapped at Bernadette who had just tried to intervene for Bryan, "this is personal."
Bernadette swallowed her words and could only watch in silence. While she listened to Bryan's story she had fought really hard to keep her tears back. All these years she had thought that she had been the only one who had internal struggles.
She knew that others had problems but she felt that none could compare to hers. Her own father disowned her for no reason and wrote her off his will and even gave custody of her brother to someone he had just married.
It was only until Bryan said it out that she realised that what he went through because of this Zurich and Malcolm was far more severe. She felt like tearing that Malcolm to pieces.
