“{Nature’s Kiss}” I muttered under my breath, swiping my hand across his body and healing nearly every injury it sported.
“I’ve told you time and time again... Don’t be a hero, Jonas. What part of that do you not understand?”
My voice was barely a whisper as I tried my best not to intimidate him. But at the same time, I wondered whether too low a voice would not do the trick.
“I-I can help too, you’ll see! I was only caught off guard this time –“
“Jonas...” I glared.
Seriously, this boy is just too stubborn. To hell with heroes, all they do is die.
“O-Okay, okay, I get it...” he stammered, panic filling his voice.
Damn, it seems that my thoughts leaked out in the form of pressure as I felt Jonas stiffen and tremble as he tried to placate me.
Alongside that, a couple emotions oozed out of him in the form of scents I sniffed out involuntarily – A benefit of heightened senses.
There was a smell reminiscent of a mix of sweat, urine, tears and snot. This was fear.
