Meeting Davies ii
The word chairman alone is enough to make Amaya angry,but then she looked at her surroundings and saw people already staring at them for some reason and then Davies speaks up
"Don't worry about these people,it's not the first time people will admire my beauty" Davies told her shamelessly
"And I would advise you to put your anger in check,unless you want to see yourself on the Internet in the next one minute"
"Are you mad,so the Mr Anonymous finally decided to show himself hurnn" Amaya said gritting her teeth in annoyance
Davies take his seat and gesture for Amaya to do so too,he signal to one of the waiters to come take their orders.
"What would you like to have" he asked her
"Nothing,I don't drink coffee at night"
"You can go" he said to the waiter who bow his head a little before leaving them alone
"So now let get to business"
"Before you start talking,can I ask you some questions" Amaya said impatiently.
She still couldn't believe the man behind the call this morning meeting was now sitting in front of her as if nothing happened in the morning and to think of him trying to own the chairman position of her father's company,at least she has to know why.
"Are you really the Mr Anonymous" was the first thing she asked him.
"That's a lame one" was his answer to her question.
"I was expecting questions like what do you want by buying my dad's company shares,or,are you the one behind my kidnapping or other things,but I must say you really disappoint me there"
Amaya was dumb for some minutes again by his reply,is he the one behind her kidnapping situation and Mark's death and what did he mean by other things
"Wh..what do you mean?"
Davies smiled as usual before dropping his elbow on the table and lean towards her
"I bought your company shares intentionally,I planned your kidnapping situation with that dead fool,I killed him also and I'm planning on collecting everything you have till you are left with nothing" he told her with a devilish smile on his face which make him more attractive than before.
Everything seems to confuse Amaya but that did not stop her tears from rolling down her face and she can't even think of why.
"But why,why me I don't even know you so how did I offend you or or ...."
"No ooo common dear" he cut her off smiling again
"You don't offend me ok let's just say I'm taking some steps ahead and besides you don't even know how to run a big company like that so just give it up"
He said to her and bring out a file from him inner suit pocket
"I brought you a copy of the contract you signed with Mark incase you need it"
He pushed the file to her and was taken aback again by her beauty,even when she is crying she still look so sexy and attractive to him.
"Its nice doing business with you dear"
He stands up to take his leave as he tells her his last word for the day
"Prepare your self,tomorrow morning meeting is all about your dismissal from the company and get ready to hand over your shares to all the board of directors" and he left her their as she cried her eyes out without knowing what to say.
All she could muttered was
"No no no all this can't be happening,I'm dreaming yea that's it I'm dreaming
It's 8pm already before Best decided to returned the number that texted her and send a location to the person even though she was scared .
On getting to the location which is an unfamous restaurant that Amaya and Best usually visit to eat and it's there favourite spot not too far from the police station.
Just as she enters she was greeted by a female waiter
"Good evening ma'am,this way ma'am"
She was taken to meet Zark at the vip section and was offer a sit by Zark who dismissed the waiter
"Sure but where is everyone" she asked him.
"Its just a meeting between us alone so I rented this place out"
Everything seems awkward for some minutes after which they sat down and eat their dinner.
"So Mr Adams,you said you wants to see me and talk"
"I just want to ask you some questions that's all" Zark answered
He straighten him self well before resting his back against the chair.
"So what are your questions" she asked curiously
"So I checked you up some days ago and I saw that you apply for a position at Ford Technologies a branch of Fold Group company"
"Yea sure I did" she answered him a bit confused on how he knows and how powerful he is.
"So here's the deal,I have seen your qualification and I have talk to the ceo so you can resume work on Monday"
"Wait you mean the ceo told you to tell me to resume in the next 48 hours at South LA ?" She asked excitedly forgetting to ask who he was at the company to ask the ceo to employ her.
"And when you get there just give the receptionist this card" he said to her giving her the card that is meant for senior employees only "and you will be taken to your office and apartment" he said finally now standing up to take his leave
"Ohhh thank,thank you so much" she said repeatedly to him with her eyes teary,everything still feels like a dream to her.
"Nice meeting you miss Amay.. I mean miss Best, good bye".
Zark pick out his phone in his pocket and place a call to John.
"Hey buddy watsup"
"John, she's not the one we are looking for,I think there seems to be a mistake".
