On Monday morning, Sue was in her office when Leah came with a letter.
“Morning, Miss. Sue. How was your weekend?” Leah asked and placed the letter on Sue’s desk.
“It was fine, Leah, thanks.” Then she looked at the letter and took it, “What is it, Leah?”
We received this today, and it has your name.
Sue read the sender’s name, and her eyes got widened. Then, she said, “Thanks, Leah, you can leave now.”
Sue requested Leah not to transfer any calls to her or disturb her. Then, Sue opened the letter and read it. Her doubts grew. The letter showed how confused, scared, and worried Jasmine was.
Jasmine did not even provide her address. Sue held the letter in her hands, and moved her eyes between the sentences, and said,
“Gosh, Rayan, what did you do to Jasmine to scare her that much?”
She placed the letter on her desk, put her head between her hands, and thought about them.
