Chapter 29: Romeo of The Modern Era- Part 1
The four of them walked to the movie theater, and all of them were talking except for Lily. Jasmine was in her highest spirit. She coquetted with Alex, and Rayan was obviously flirting with her, trying to regain her attention.
Lily did not like the comic play she was witnessing. She felt that she was accompanying a bunch of light-headed people.
Alex was acting normal and friendly as usual. Yet, he could not help himself but noticing the sudden shift of behavior from Jasmine. In the last few days, she acted nice, but today she was acting extremely weird. Nice, but odd. She was over caring, and it was clearly fake. He felt that Jasmine was trying to get Rayan’s attention by being so close to Alex. He did not like how Jasmine was using him to make Rayan jealous, but Alex knew that Jasmine was a shallow girl after all. She was an arrogant, spoiled, beautiful girl, and that was expected from her.
What he could not understand was the actions of his roommate, Rayan.
