Lily and Jasmine were sitting in the back seat on their way back, and Alex was next to the driver.
Jasmine and Lily were whispering since they both got into the car. Suddenly, Lily’s voice got louder, and she said, “Fine, but don’t talk about it at home.” Her tone was a bit sharp.
Alex felt that they were arguing. “I don’t want to be a meddlesome person, but since I met you girls, I saw you quarreling all the time. I wonder how it is like at home. How do you survive living together?” Alex wondered.
“Lucky me, it is only for the remaining six weeks,” Jasmine said.
“Yes, indeed lucky you, and poor me. I am suffering every day with you, your majesty.” Lily commented.
Lily and Jasmine resumed their argument, and this time it was not whispering. They did not care that Alex was with them hearing all this.
He started laughing, and said, “You are funny. For sure, it is me who is lucky. Having the opportunity to laugh every day at work and on my way home.”
