Chapter 3

"I know that he went to fight the vortex but that is about it."The dean stared at me. There was a prolonged moment of silence.

"Do you know what happened to Leo?"

The Dean said in a gruff voice "Leo is in the hospital. He was attacked by the dark angles." The was yet another time of silence. Is the Dean going to speak…..or should I go? "Anyways, I got what I needed, you can go now." I got out of the chair and walked to my room. That girl, why would she lie? What does she have to gain? When I got to my room, it was all ransacked. The bed was completely undone, my clothes were everywhere, the door was broken, and my window was opened. Could it have been that girl? I quickly started to clean everything up. I checked to see if there were any monitoring spells. I detected twelve monitoring spells. I quickly destroyed them all. The caster was weak so they were also easy to break. I grabbed my spellbook and my brother's spellbook and hid them in a safe space in my pocket. Something you should know about me is that I have a secret safe space almost anywhere. The only hard part is casting it, then I get tired. I walked out of the room and then I heard a familiar voice calling out.

"Hey, you. How dare you break my spells." It was that girl from before, the one who accused me of assaulting her and the one whom I sparred with.

"I only broke your spells because you were spying on me, I have evidence of you doing it."

"Well if you want me to not bother you again meet me at your and your boyfriend's shed, tomorrow at dusk."

I was so confused. I have a boyfriend!!!! How? When? Why? I looked at the girl and asked, "I have a boyfriend?"

Now she looked as dumbfounded as me, presiding to yell "You know, Leo."

"Leo is my best friend." Both of us were silent for a while. He may have given me the nickname 'Kyo' but he is my best friend nothing more than that.

"So you're still gonna meet me there?" She asked with an awkward tone of voice. I could see that she had misunderstood something. I knew that people thought of us as siblings because we acted like it but siblings..Ew. 

"I will only meet you there because I don't want you to bother me ever again." I started to walk away but it seemed like she still wasn't done.

"Why are you walking away? You scared." She asked tauntingly.

"No," I replied.

"Did I hurt your feelings?"

"No." I continued walking to the cafeteria. While I was walking she kept on talking. Eventually, she stopped walking with me and left. Thank the gods...The cafeteria had many options to eat but my favorite was the Sunday roast. The meat was nice and juicy while the potatoes were nice and seasoned.

"Can I get some wo'er?" I asked.

"Here's your wo'er," The waitress said. The water around here is generally clean, there's no soda water but they did have tea. I grabbed a tea bag and sat down in my seat. What on the gods did that girl want? She seemed so persistent on Leo. Does she like him?? That's her business and none of mine, however, I don't like her that much. I continued to eat my food in silence. For a second I thought I had seen Leo but it was just someone else. I wished he was here, I wished he would be back, and that all of this would be a prank, but it wasn't. I finished my food and went to my room. If she wanted to do something bad to me I would need to finish putting all my valuables. I checked for any monitoring spells, there was another one casted. I thought it might have been the same person so I destroyed it. This girl really is something. I hope she eventually stops. 

The next day I put my spellbooks in my pocket and wore one of my comfy jackets. The jacket has little ears and holes so you can fly. I put the invisibility spell on my wings and left. Should I really meet up with this girl? Does she intend to do anything good? I mean it would be nice to get a break from her and not have to deal with her. My actions will have consequences, either way. I'm pretty sure this is bullying at this point. I will just not meet up with her, besides I can just get some sleep if I don't. There was another lesson today, a long, boring, two-hour lesson. The teacher went on a rant about the gods, and how they were the most important beings ever. I thought my teacher was delusional because she said that the most powerful one spoke to her. "So there are eleven powerful gods, there are the light, dark, animal, 2nd dimension, cloud, intelligence, fighting, love, death, life, and guidance gods. All of the gods are very powerful but the most powerful is the guidance god, the next 2 most powerful are the life and death gods. The life and death gods are siblings and rivals. All the other gods are all powerful but not as powerful as the 3 different gods. You know, the guidance god talked to me when I was twenty-nine years old, he told me that the life I dreamed of would be designed sooner or later. You know how lucky you are to be in the presence of someone who spoke with God's guidance. This means that you are speaking with a gifted angle, you kids should be honored even to be taught by me." 

Three hours after we were supposed to be done we were finally allowed out of the classroom by the teacher. My head hurts from all the talking. I walked down the corridor to my room when I was suddenly snatched by my mouth and dragged to… The SHED?!?! What the heck, why am I being dragged all the way here for no reason??? What is Going On?!? I should calm down, I don't even know what they want. Who even is this? Is this that girl??

"This is what you get for ditching on our deal." A voice said.

"Don't you dare disrespect our bestie like that, you scum." Another voice spoke. The hands came off of my eyes and I saw that it was that girl and her wannabe friends.

"Are you mentally ok? It seems a bit weird for you to have done this. It makes you mentally troubled." I said. I knew that I would really piss her off but I didn't care about that. If she wants to annoy and taunt me I might as well do the same. This will be interesting. "Not to mention that you and your wannabe fake friends are always acting like you're worth something. It's honestly fallacious that you think that you can scare me."

"You wanna go, you douche. I will destroy you, you twerp." The girl yelled back.

I stared intensely at her, and I calmly said"You already are so agitated over a few words. By the way, I never got your name." My face was as unchanged as a rock. I may have been surrounded but I wasn't scared.

" My name is Jessica. And don't you forget it, because that is the name of the person who is going to best you." Jessica yelled. So her name is Jessica. She continued on her rant about how amazing she was and how she would beat me up. The only thing I found impressive was her giant ego.

"Why so desperate? How badly do you want to best me?" I questioned. "Not to mention that the others you brought here have done nothing but help, so you're not doing much."
