/"She doesn’t have feelings for you,/" Amelia blurted out simply. But I am the only one who knows how much it hurts. I don’t know what to say next. I already know this, but it hurts to hear it from her friend. I should have dropped this topic for a minute.

/"I am sorry. I don’t mean to hurt you. She liked you, but she has strong feelings for Jacen since she met him years ago,/"

/"What? What are you talking about?/" I gave a puzzled look.

/"Don’t you know that? Sydney told me on the last day before she left Slateville. She met Jacen when she was alive. She was Sapphire in those years. She came to Ravenwood for a vacation with the whole family. That’s when Jacen and Sydney met. Do you remember that vacation, Noah?/"
