chapter 72: Results and rewards
Lukas stood up. His whole body was drenched in sweat, but he didn't shiver or show signs of any weakness before he started following her from behind.

Passing through another door, both of them entered a huge corridor paved with shining purple tiles. On either side stood huge white pillars at fixed intervals. Across the red carpet laid on the floor stood a huge dark altar. In the middle of it, there was a blue cube chained by several dark vines, pulsing purple light slowly as if it were alive.
Lukas was amazed to see it. His mind started coming up with many reasons why he was here. The most accurate one to him was that she would give him that thing, whatever it was.
They approached the altar. Lukas didn't move his attention from it for a single second.
