No Loyalty

***Day Sixty***

It’s been two weeks since the All Saints Ball and so much has changed. Starting with Mia and Evander. Since their fight, she never returned to his house. And surprisingly, she kept her head down about it. I expected her to be a bit more like Sophie but she bowed out gracefully. Making me feel even worse about it.

I knew they weren’t mates, but Mia had feelings for Evander. She must have, after opening herself up to him for so many days and nights.

I wondered if she had feelings for him long ago when they left their pack. Mason was Evander’s second in command of the army. And also, his lifelong best friend. Naturally when he followed Evander out of the pack life, so did Mia. I always assumed it was from loyalty and love of her brother.

Now I think I may have been wrong. Maybe it was because of her own love of Evander.

“She doesn’t love him.” Audrey interrupted my rant. We were jogging in the forest and decided to take a break.
