Once I occupied the seat next to Godric, a swarm of gasp could be heard throughout the room. But Godric ignored the curious eyes and ears. His attention was fully on me. And my attention was on the full plate sitting before me.

I felt as if it’s been months since I had a decent meal. And it has. Evander’s group did not have many options when it came to food or supplies. This was the first time in months that I had a full plate. I wasn’t starved, but I didn’t have choices either.

“Do you have any plans for today?” He asked while chewing on a breakfast biscuit.

I shook my head no. “I will probably hang out with Audrey. That is if she's not too busy with Alex.” I said, jokingly.
