Faction mission and goal

Without wasting any more time Luke opened his quest page to give out quests to a few selected players to bring the rest of the players to his base. However, a new icon appeared there which surprised him slightly.

The Regular quests were just plain and simple quests like slay goblins or deliver a letter. Main storyline quests involved all main storyline and hidden main storyline quests. Specialised quests were meant to contain all other types of quests including chain quests, hidden quests, Race quests, etc. This was the information Luke had uncovered through simply reading through all the options each of these categories had. However, the addition of a new category made things rather interesting, and so Luke opened that category and read the description.

Note: Faction quests do not have a limit on rewards. The rewards are automatically decided based on the difficulty of the quest/mission. This quest must either be one that you have currently or have had before when it comes to specialised and main storyline quests. Regular quests can be created randomly at any time. Also note that once your influence over the world reached a certain point, you can also 'create' your own specialised, and even main storyline missions.

'Wait a minute! I can give missions unlimitedly?'

Just as this though crossed Luke's mind, he quickly came up with a far better plan and began typing on the system screen rapidly for a few minutes before sending it to all the players in his faction.

All the players who were discussing the new faction, all of them who had joined COD, as well as the players who were continuously joining received a notification.

Faction Mission: Return to Base

Welcome to COD 'Players'! This an official notice to all 'Players' who have and will join Cards of Destiny in the future. COD offers many benefits to its members. However, most of you are unable to access these benefits since you are not near the COD Base. Hoping for a safe and eventful journey for you all… The Sage.

Task: Return to the base of COD within 1 month. The location has been displayed on the mini-map as the blue marker. Those who miss this deadline will not receive the rewards.

Mission difficulty: C+

Mission rewards: 250 exp, 1 Faction Point (Can be used at the base to exchange for information, missions, equipment, etc), 1 communication device (Secret high-tech device used for long distance communication and tracking)

While the players were reading their very first mission, as well as faction mission all in one, Luke was understanding certain things.

'I can create my own Specialised missions by sending them directly to players suing my 'NPC exp' pool which gets refreshed daily. Maybe in the future, I could even create my own main storylines. However, I cannot do either of these with faction missions as of now. As the nots said, I will have to wait until my or my organisation's influence is strong enough before I can create specialised and main storyline faction missions.'

While nodding to himself, Luke lied back in his sofa, Lucy busy sleeping with her head on his lap after a day of exhausting training.

"Sigh, now that I think about it, she should be my grand-daughter's age…"

Thinking this far, Luke shivered in his spot thinking back to the nonsense he had been doing up till now for the past year and a half. HE also remembered the very reason he was trying so hard to grow stronger. He needed to get out of this game! His family was waiting for him!
