C07. Chain Xudan's Disease

Seeing only one elder steeling the opportunity alone few other elders also joined and demanded the execution of the whole Dragon claw clan. After all what harm would come if a commoner clan destroy.

This whole turn of events threw Kai Feng in a tight spot, his mental state was in complete disarray. He just got his son back and now they are talking about executing his whole clan.

"Everyone leave! Except for Chain clan elders and Kai Chen!" Chain Hai announced. They were confused but didn't dare to refuse Chain Hai's order. Zha Nan felt humiliated that he was no exception and was forced to leave the room.

This was one of the very few secrets of the Chain ho province that were not allowed to be leaked. Even Zha Nan was unknown of this secret. For many years he was desperately trying to cure his daughter's sickness but no doctor, medicine, or herbs cured her. her condition just got worse with every passing year.

"Lor-Lord we would never betray the Chain Ho clan, and also what would we gain telling a commoner kid about miss Xudan's disease?! Just think about it" The elders somehow convinced Chain Hai.

"No illness you say." Chain Hai suppressed anger somehow, he did want to rip his head off in front of his daughter.

"You can say it was pure luck, a few months ago I accidentally stumbled upon an old book about diseases and their cure. Luckily miss Xudan's symptoms were also mentioned there with cure." Kai Chen said without getting scared or unfazed.

"Miss Xudan is actually born with a Yin body. Everything in this world contains Yin and Yang energy. People are generally born with a Yang body. But some people are also born with a Yin body because the yin and the yang energy become unbalanced. It can happen due to surroundings and things containing Yin energy. The body gradually lacks the yang energy, and thus a body with a yin constitution was born!" Kai Chen described briefly. All the people present there were immersed in Kai Chen's explanation.

"People who are born with the yin constitution can't cultivate the yang cultivation as it is only suitable for people with the yang constitution. If yin constitution person cultivates it he/she would feel a surge of pain."

"A body with a yin constitution?" The assembled elders started to discuss among themselves. It was apparent that none of them had heard the term before.
