Chapter 7

It's already dark and we're still here at the cemetery. Hindi ako nag-isip ng kung ano sa mga namayapa na. I respect them and I would never be scared.

"We're not eating here, are we?" I arched my brow and fold my arms in my chest. He stopped walking and face me wearing an elegant smile on his face.

"No. Cemetery is not a place for eating." He stated, I'm looking at him with a hint of judgement in my eyes. His eyebrows furrowed and his elegant smile faded away.

"Cemetery is our last destination." He added. I didn't change my expression and stay that way. Tila ba naiinis na ito sa akin the way he scratches his head and avoiding my judgmental gaze.

"What's with you?" He finally asked. Nagkibit-balikat ako. Not even planning to utter a word. He stayed annoyed for a moment, hindi nakatakas sa paningin ko ang sumilay na ngiti sa labi nito. Ako naman ngayon ang napa-kunot noo.

"Ayaw mo ba dito?"

"Hindi naman. It's just that, it's so unusual."

The way he raised his eyebrows from left to right send chills down to my spine.

"I brought you here, para malaman mo na, deads ako sayo." The way he said it, it feels like it is so true and surreal but sadly it isn't.

*face palm.

He barked a laugh. "Kinilig ka naman?"

"Aba! Hindi!"

Sinong kikiligin dun? Nakakakilabot!

"I thought so. Some of my dates is. Nakakilig daw." Kwento nito. I didn't really mind the way he held my arm and slightly pulled me from the spot I was currently standing. We started walking.

"You really are a playboy. I wonder why dad had chosen you." I said it a matter of fact.

Napalayo ng kaunti ang kanyang mukha sa akin, para bang nagulat sa sinabi ko. Noong mukhang nahimasmasan na ay napa-iling na lamang ito.

"Damn. Nagtataka ka pa? E ako kaya ang pinaka-gwapo sa aming lima! Maybe your dad thought na baka you're into visual looking guy." I laugh the way he said those words in slang.

"Ba't ka natatawa?" Immediately shook my head.

"I didn't know that you have this kind of personality, My first impression is so unreal to the Israel I'm talking to right now." I honestly said. He smiled softly.

"Well, I'm not a cold person. I like people, especially you." Pabiro ko itong inirapan, he laughs.

After that, I didn't realize that we're already outside of the cemetery. Talking is really a good way to surpass your fear o kung gaano ka man kapagod.

We ate at a well-known restaurant. I am happy whenever I'm with him. I'm comfortable with him, and I think he is too.

He's a great company!

"I do enjoyed this night." Nasusukang sambit ko dito. Alam ko kasing lalaki ang tainga neto! Mahangin pa naman din.

He smirked and got out of the car, I was planning to open the door of mine but he opened it in just a flash!

"I knew you would." He's still smirking while saying that. I unconsciously rolled my eyes.

"Goodnight Israel." Now he smiled calmly.

"Sleep well."

Noong nabuksan ko na ang pinto ng kwarto ko agad akong tumalon sa kama at naidlip. Nagising na lang ako dahil sa katok ni Samuel.

"Bakit?" I said half sleeping. He was shocked to see my situation but he ignores it.

"Are you good in math?" Humalakhak ako sa tanong nito. Nagtataka naman itong nakatingin sa akin, tila ba isa akong baliw na matagal ng nakakulong sa mental.

"Of course!" I saw how his eyes glint pero nawala din.

"Not!" Dugtong ko. Nalukot ang mukha nito at napahilamos ng kanyang mukha gamit ang kanyang mga palad. He looked so frustrated.

"Why? What's the matter?" Mukhang nagising na ng tuluyan ang aking kaluluwa. Nakayuko ito.

"I'm not good in math, we have to solve some stupid problem." He said frustratingly.

Well, pag dating sa math? I can't really help him, I'm also not good in that subject but I'm trying my best but still I hated it. I am facing a lot of problems and stress pag dating sa math, gusto ko man siyang tulungan pero sorry siya, problemahin niya tong mag-isa.

"I can do math." Pareho kaming napa-angat ng tingin ni Samuel sa kay Gavien na bigla na lamang nagsalita. I saw how Samuel's eyes glinted again and he's now smiling! 

My ideal man can do math!

"Really?" Hindi makapaniwalang tanong ni Samuel. Gavien nodded cooly.

"Yes. I'm actually quite pretty good at it." He stated and it makes me awe. I admire him more and more every single day!

How can I stop my not so sure feelings towards him when he's being so idealistic!

"Great! Let's go to my room!" Masiglang aya ni Samuel at tumulak na patungo sa kanyang kwarto, sumunod din si Gavien.

"Good night." He said before going next to Samuel.

Luh. Pa-Fall.

It's already 8:30 pm, nagpasya akong maligo bago matulog. When I'm done I quickly drifted off to sleep.

I woke up feeling happy, I can't stop smiling even though I don't know why I'm feeling so happy today. Nagtataka din nga ang suitors dahil sa aking aksyon ngayon. We're all eating breakfast. Samuel's thankful for Gavien's big help. The cold aura of Israel faded away, he is also friendly. We can't really judge a person just by looking at them. Julius is all.smiles, just like my everyday scene whenever I'm talking or looking at him.

Bago pa man mapako ang mga mata ko sa lalaking nakaupo katabi si Gavien ay agad ko na itong pinigilan at itinuon na lamang ang atensyon sa aking pagkain. It's now friday. I visited my parents kahapon, and we all bonded kahit na medyo busy si Dad.

We head to school after eating breakfast. Lots of squealed is heard as we walk past by them. The suitors didn't really care and don't seems to be affected.

Friday is my day with Samuel and he's currently thanking Gavien, again.

"Thank you so much for helping me." Walang katapusang pasasalamat ni Samuel kay gavien.

"It's nothing."

"Nothing ka dyan!" I laughed because of Samuel's irritated words napatingin ito sa akin at lumapit.

"Kunwari pa naman yun. Mahirap kaya ang math tapos sasagot siya ng 'nothing'?!" Bulong nito. I'm giggling as I patted his shoulder.

"Don't think about it too much." I said in between giggling. He sighed. Pagkatapos noon ay hinatid na ako nito sa room ko.
