chapter Eight : flies

" Happy new year readers "

Days turn into weeks, while weeks turn into months and soon it was time for the senior year three students finally exams .

" senior Edward will be graduating soon " prissy sighed

" yeah real soon " Angelica replied slightly sad

" can I ask you a question Angelica " prissy asked suddenly

" yeah shoot "

" do you like senior Edward "

" ptttfff " Angelica spat out her milk tea

" were is this coming from " she asked

" am serious alright , so answer me is it a yes or no " prissy asked curious

" I don't hate him alright and yes I like him but as a older brother ah " Angelica replied

" but why did you ask a question like that out of the blue eh? "

" I was just curious , you know snr Edward attracts a lot of flies and so I just wanted to be sure " she replied

" you have a point though that's not my prob anyways " Angelica replied

" why are we even talking about this, let's change the topic " Angelica retorted

Angelica ! prissy !

turning around they saw jenny running towards them

" Hey Jenny what's up "

" you don't know "

" know what ? "

" two of our seniors are fighting over Senior Edward " Jenny said

" what !!!! " the duo exclaimed

" you see I was right " Prissy said

" yeah you were " Angelica agreed

" you know what guys the most amusing part is that senior Edward who they are fighting over has been in the school library studying since break while those jobless two are fighting over him " Jenny said

" Sounds like Senior Edward " Prissy applauded.

the two girls fighting over Edward were Chizzy and her best friend Rose they were also third year students in art class

Rose always liked Edward but never said while Chizzy had a crush on him and kept it a secret , due to their discussions they found about one another's secret which led to their fight.

At first it was a mere exchange of words but then it got to the point of tangling of one another's hair . their classmates tried their best to separate them but failed as they continued fighting.

it was not until the vice principal arrived did they stop fighting.

He asked them to follow him to his office.

* At the office

" why were you both fighting " he asked his tone threatning.

" sir ....she started first " Rose pointed at chizzy.

" No was it not you " Chizzy Retorted

" Will you stop this Nonsense now , I ask you a question will you answer me or not " The VP. was pissed off

" sir she tried to steal my crush "

" sir don't mind her she's the one that's trying to steal my Bf "

" Don't tell me that you guys were fighting over a guy " he inquired

" it's a guy sir " they responded

" what ! and you had the guts to admit , don't you girls have shame ,your exam is in two weeks time and instead of studying you are disturbing the peace of the school all because of a guy , where's your self respect ? " He ranted.

" we are sorry sir " they pleaded

" sorry for yourself and if I may ask who is the guy ? " he asked

" its Edward sir "

" you mean Bright Edward the Health Prefect "

" yes sir "

Where is he at the moment ? "

" we don't know sir "

" Really , and you are fighting over him " he sneered

'' we are sorry sir " they pleaded fearfully because as every one was aware the VP was a disciplinarian.

ignoring the two the VP summoned Victor the class captain of their class , and then he asked him were Edward was to which the CP said he had been in the library since break .

Hearing this the VP smiled as expected of the. HP

" Alright tell him to come see me when he is done "

" Alright sir I will " Victor responded

" you can leave now " The VP said

" Thanks sir " Victor bowed and left.

When Edward was told that the VP wanted to see him , he was surprised as he was not aware of what was going on.

After he was done studying he went to the VP's office where he met the two trouble makers on punishment .

" Good afternoon sir " he greeted the VP

" you sent for me sir , is there a problem " he asked curiously.

" Good afternoon child, and yes I sent for you , have your seat first " the VP spoke softly .

" Edward do you recognize this two students " he asked

" yeah sir I do , one is the library prefect and the other is her best friend" he replied

" so do you have any connection with them because they claimed to be your girlfriend and crush " the VP said .

" Sir to be honest I haven't spoken to any of them before " Edward replied truthfully

" Alright I believe you " The VP replied .

" you heard that , so why do you claim to be his girlfriend and crush " the VP asked

" sir we .... just like him and that's why we lied '' the duo replied guilty

" Shut up get ready for your real punishment .

" please sir we are sorry " they pleaded but it was useless as their punishment has already been decided.

ignoring them the VP faced Edward

" child sorry for the in convince you can go now " The VP said softly

" Alright sir thanks " Edward bowed and left. and as for the girls the rest was history .

Edward went ahead to Angelica and Prissy's class as it was closing already

" Edward you are the reason the whole school is in uproar " Angelica scolded

" And how is that , what have I done " he asked

" you are still asking ,was it not your so called girlfriend and crush " Prissy said

" Oh ! anyways it's settled now let's head home now " he replied

" Alright let's go " the duo replied.
