Chapter 16: Mock Battle

Two weeks have passed, Ray and his friends are ready they have been training non stop. But before that they have to compete for the spot to enter the battle.

Every class has their representative, They also want to participate in the mock battle. But only one team will advance, But in only take 30 minutes for Ray and his friends to enter the mock battle.

"So we have our winner, So lets go to the human kingdom"

Witness by Miguel the principal of Claude kingdom, He looks happy because Ray manage to the win the selection and advance. Ray and his friends ride on the special horse wagon that carry the competitor.

"So guys how's training?" Ray break the silence between them

"So tired I wish I could sleep right now"

For Ryo of course it's a tired day, He train with his father everyday so he really need to sleep right now. Ray can only laugh after hearing Ryo whine like that. But Zed still quiet it's like he got so much things in his mind.

"Zed don't worry we gonna win this, So we got to do our best"

So that's Ray the supportive friends and the type who didn't want his friends to look sad or feel uneasy. It's a long journey to the human kingdom, it takes three hours by riding the horse wagon.

It can be help the three of them fall asleep on the wagon, They must be tired from waiting and training. So it's okay for them to sleep right now to replenish their energy.

Miguel smile, He also know that Ray and his friends have been training and want to participate this mock battle. Zed is the one who wanted to join this battle badly to sharpen his skill.

But Miguel didn't know that Ray and Ryo also want to participate this mock battle. It's like they had a connection. He got a goosebump after thinking about this three.

Two king's aura possesser, But the rules restrict participants to use king's aura so they won't use their king's aura this time. But Miguel believe this two doesn't need to use king's aura to win this battle.

"Alright, We are here now wake up"

The three of them slowly open their eyes, They saw a rare sight of other races kingdom. it can't be help, They had been drown by the admiration because this is they fist time visiting the other country.

"My oh my, now get ready lets show them our strength"

It's time to get serious, they take a deep breath and exhale. They can't let their guard down now, Their opponent must be well prepared to face them and will not give a chance to them.

The human also had their own arena, The arena is use for training and some tournment that they organize. But now this arena will be their battlefield against Ray and his friends.

After a few minutes walking to the arena, The guards stops them and ask who their are.

"My oh my, We are from the Claude kingdom Academy."

The guards bow and apologize to Miguel, It seems somthing has happen here the security is tight, Wondering why there are so many guards here Ray ask Miguel.

"Sir what had happened here?"

"My my I don't know, Let's go don't mind them"

Finally they reach the preparation area, Ray and his friends are physical and mentally prepared and now they let the people to enter the arena to witness the intense battle.

The beautiful announcer taking a deep breath and preparing to announce this battle.

"Welcome everybody, Today we are going to witness the battle between the human and Claude kingdom Academy"

The arena fill with cheers and screaming, The spectators getting hype by this battle, But Ray's hand are shaking he unconsciously nervous.

"So our warrior gonna fight with the other warrior from the Claude kingdom Academy"

Cheers canbe heard from afar, On the VIP seats there are nobles from the human kingdom and Miguel the principal. Miguel had a chance to witness these three kids in action.

"Before we start, Let's see who can cut down all this dummy in a second"

Ray smile, He want to test his skill after the training with his father. The two weeks he spends will pays off today, But they can't underestimate the human either his father always told him not to underestimate your opponent and got carry away.

"Here comes our warrior, Have an average build, Average height and last but not least He's the fastest between our three warriors. His name is Wade"

Wade the fastest between the three of them, But how fast? On Ray's side it seems Zed can enter this but, Ray insist on wanting to go to challenge the warriors. Zed can't disagree with Ray's decision but with a warning he lose he won't forgive him.

"Then, Warrior from the Claude kingdom academy, Also an average build, Average heighs and with an unknown specialty, His name his Ray"

But it seems no one want to cheers the warriors from the other races, When Ray's name announced only Zed and Ryo cheer him up while the others are silence.

But it doesn't matter to Ray he got the warning from Miguel before going here, Miguel told him to stay calm all the time because the opponent might want to attack with some psychological attack before the match even start.

"See no one want to cheers for a Zombie like you the weakest races hahaha"

"I see nice to meet you"

Wade who try to provoke Ray, But he didn't expect Ray to be this calm and his face crumple and his thoughts says defeat this bastard no matter what. Wade smile then, He pointed out his sword towards Ray.

'This bastard really got in my nerve'

Ray really wanted to smash this guy but he keep his bloodlust under control, He didn't want to stain his principal's name so this guy is safe for now. Ray take deep breath and also draw his sword and pointed towards Wade.

"Ho you got a nerve to pointed your sword at me lowly creature"

"Ho so what? let's see who is the fastest between us"

Wade face crumpling and this time he's serious this time he release his bloodlust but Ray didn't even flinch, Ray know that his father's bloodlust is much stronger then his opponent.

"Ho, So we already had a warm-up session, So who will go first? Wade or Ray?"

"Huh let me go first and show you some real skill and speed"

With confidence, Wade volunteer himself to go first, He walk to the starting line and ready to slice all the dummy.

"So our warrior wanted to go first"

Wade dash to slash all the dummy, One by one and his speed in on another level, The crowds are cheering for him as he slash the dummy.

'Slash'

"Wow our warrior finish it in one 1 minute and 30 seconds"

'Wooooh'

The crowds screams, Wade then look down on Ray and throw a sinister face as he walk pass Ray, He notice that Ray didn't look at his performance and he grit his teeth.

"Haha are you afraid?"

"Too slow"

"You!!!"

Wade curse Ray but Ray didn't mind him and get ready to slash all the dummy. Just like before the crowds are quiet when Ray appear, Zed want to witness what is ray want to test here. He wanted to challenge that warrior but Ray says he will defeat him for sure.

"Ho from the other warrior, Ray will he beat the score?"

"He's not gonna defeart our warrior"

"He will finish it tommorow hahaha"

The crowds seems confident in their words, But it doesn't affect Ray at all he already at stage that nobody can bother him.

Ray vanish from the battle field and appear on the the dummy one by one, With a speed of lightning, He dashes towards the dummy and cut them down so easily. He finish cut it in the fastest time.

"Woah woah, This is the new record, This warrior finish it in 40 seconds!"

All the crowds confuse, They begin to talk that Ray is cheating. The crowds even ask to check Ray's swords and then Miguel feel something is not right. The nobles start to smile. A judge come and check Ray's sword.

But as he check it he cast some spell to enchant Ray's sword, To make it look like Ray is cheating.

"This warrior is using some kind of magic to enhance his sword and the winner is our Warrior"

"Booo"

"Cheater!"

Miguel clench his fist, His expression change he didn't know that te human wanted to win this match. But he must control his emotion this maybe the part of their plan to crush them.

Ray is also trying to maintain his composure, He hold his bloodlust, He take his sword and walk to his friends. As he walk, He got curse by the crowds, But he still maintain his composure.

"Hahaha what a loser!"

But Ray only gaze him with a cold glare with the intent to kill, Wade feel a chill runs towards spine. What he saw is an assassin ready to kill his target but Ray didn't do that he completely control his emotion.

"They will pay for this"

With a cold voice Ray sit down on the bench clenching his fist. Zed and Ryo also controlling their composure. Miguel really want to snap all the nobles head one by one, He control his breathing although he got provoke by the nobles.
