The Favor Of A God.

(HOW THE HELL HAVE EIGHT DAYS GONE BY! IT FELT LIKE THREE! Working retail is messing with my sense of time. I need a new job to give me more time to write.)

When Ophis pulled him away from his group, Jack was pleased as he had secrets he didn't want others to know. Now that he was away from them he could speak freely.

"So, what do you want to know?" 

Ophis leaned in and looked up at him. 

"A few things, the most important is how you could use some of my power. I came here not because of how strong you got, Ddraig and Albion could reach those levels of power in their primes. I came because I clearly felt you use some of my power even to a small degree. 

I am questioning all of it as I have never met you before. I have not given you a blessing or give you one of my snakes. So, how did you get access to my power when I have never given it to you? Second of all, this."

She reached out and placed her hand on the Abyssal Eclipse Gear on his right arm. 

"Where did you get this Sacred Gear? I can feel not just Ddraig and Albion's powers in it, but mine and Great Red's as well. Not to mention I can feel the familiar aura of Apophis. So, how in the hell do you have a Sacred Gear with the powers of four dragons other than Apophi?"

[Of course, you would be able to tell all that. Hey, Jack do we just go out and say it?] 

"I don't see why we shouldn't. Are you planning on killing us Ophis?"

Ophis seemed rather amused at the question. 

"As if, you are far too interesting to just kill. I am all ears." 

Since he wasn't going to die, he just went out and said it. 

"To make a long story short, multiverse theory."

When Ophis heard him, she nodded.

"I see. Haven't heard that one before. I have heard of the Multiverse Theory before but didn't really believe it. Are you from an Alternative Universe then?"

He shook his head.

"I am not. I was born in this universe, however, I did manage to somehow combine with the soul of one of my alternative selves. When he died, his splintered soul go sent hurling through dimensions where it fused with me.

That was how I was able to get this Sacred Gear The Abyssal Eclipse Gear. The reason you can feel the power of Ddraig is because this gauntlet used to be a regular Twice Critical. My alternative self just mastered its limit and he enhanced it by absorbing a gem of the real Boosted Gear."

Ophis was now very curious. 

"So, this Sacred Gear is from an Alternative Universe and you fused with the soul of your dead alternative self? Most fascinating, I dare say you are the single most curious entity I have met and I an beyond ancient. So, how does that explain mine, Albion's, and Great Red's power?" 

Jack then proceeded to explain that Issei of the Alternative Universe had absorbed a gem of the Divine Dividing to steal the Divide of Albion. Then how he had his original body destroyed by Samael's poison. How Ophis and Great Red made him a new body from Great Red's flesh along with the blessing of Ophis. 

Then, how Issei defeated Apophis, then sealed her inside a gem of the Diabolos Dragon God, a fusion of Great Red's, Ophis', and Ddraig's powers. That gem now containing Apophis was implanted into Other Jack's evolved Twice Critical. 

Not to mention that Apophis had been resurrected by the Holy Grail, modified to be resistant to Dragon Slaying Magic and to increase her already formidable power to a level matching the Heavenly Dragons. 

Then, how Jack had been blessed by Ophis before he died in battle against the Evie who had invaded Dragon Deus. This explanation took a while, but Apophis was quite helpful in explaining this.

When he got done, he waited for Ophis to react as now she seemed to be thinking deeply. She crossed her arms and began to tap her finger on her arm. 

"What I am hearing is, through a series of unlikely coincidences, and events, this unique Sacred Gear was created. As a result, it now contains the powers of five dragons, two Dragon Gods, two Heavenly Dragons, and an Evil Dragon. 

Do you understand just how many coincidences had to happen to make your Gauntlet?" 

Only now did Jack really understand just how many steps went into making his Sacred Gear. He ran his hand down the black gauntlet with a smile. 

"Guess I am pretty lucky." 

Ophis scoffed. 

"Lucky? If Luck was a goddess, she might as well be in love with you. First, Other Jack cultivated a Twice Critical to the limit and evolved it by absorbing one of the Gems of the Boosted Gear. Then, Issei acquired the blessings of Two Dragon Gods, achieved an ultimate form, and sealed Apophis, a dragon that had been resurrected, and enhanced by the Holy Grail into the main gem of that form. 

Then, that gem that contained the enhanced Apophis, was implanted into your Alternative Selves Twice Critical by Azazel and Ajuka working together.

Then, my Alternative Self blessed him, and he died to a powerful Alien Robot God who killed Great Red in one blow? His splintered soul then fused with you giving you this miraculous Sacred Gear and his memories. Did I get all that?" 

She had a smile on her face but from the look of things she wasn't happy. 

"Yes."

She squinted her eyes before she pointed at him. 

"Fuck you, you lucky son of a bitch."

Wow, he was so lucky that even Ophis was annoyed with him. 

"That's a little harsh don't you think?" 

She shook her head with a deadpan look on her face. 

"No, I don't. Then again, luck is a real thing so you are just one of the luckiest individuals I have ever met. Almost too lucky, but thanks for the honesty." 

She looked up at Jack and then back at his gauntlet. Then she smiled as she got an idea. 

"I know what I am going to do, I am going to become your Patron. You don't mind right?" 

A Patron god was quite different if he became an Apostle. If he became an Apostle he would become an extension of her and would be limited to her power level. As a Patron, it meant she would bless him, but he would still maintain his autonomy. 

His Father's Patron was Oceanus as only the desperate or faithful would become Apostles. 

"Not at all, you were Other Jack's Patron in the end, so he didn't get to really master your blessing. Right after you blessed him, he charged out to face Ragalzeva to give you the chance to escape. Well, you and Lilith." 

That was something she didn't know. 

"Lilith? The wife of Lucifer?" 

He shook his head.

"No. In Other Jack's world, some Chinese Guy named Cao Cao used Samael on you and stole a big chunk of your power. Then you got cloned which resulted in you becoming much weaker which was named Lilith?" 

Ophis went quite for a few moments before she grinned. 

"Who is this Cao Cao?" 

Jack started to smile as well. 

"The descendent of the original Cao Cao, and the possessor of the True Longius. He is from China."

Ophis started to laugh in a malevolent kind of way. 

"Thanks for the heads up." 

He nodded. 

"No problem. So, you're going to be my Patron?" 

She nodded now in a calmer state.

"I will. I rarely bless people and when I do I only give them small blessings. However, if what you two say is true, I better make sure you can get stronger than you are now to help us against those Robot Gods. 

If they can kill Great Red in one blow, that is more important than my rivalry with my brother. Plus, I can just mooch off you for the next couple of years." 

She said that with absolutely no shame. She clasped her hands together before she gathered her Divine Power before she placed her hand on his chest. He suddenly felt Ophis' power, The Infinity flow into his body. 

It surged into his soul and he expected a big effect, but that didn't happen. Rather on the surface of his soul, the symbol of the Ouroboros appeared like a brand. She removed her hand from his chest before she explained. 

"There we are, I gave you my blessing. Since you are a Dragon, and you fused with your Alternative Self who got blessed by my Alternative Self you are already compatible with my blessing.

In this way, you will be able to draw out more of your potential faster, and I will be able to find you no matter where you are. In this way, you should be able to tap into more of the powers of your Sacred Gears.

I would give you a Snake, but why rely on power that is not yours when you can simply train harder." 

"Thank you Ophis. This will cut down the time I need to master my Sub Species. Once I master that, I can start to work on my Abyss Side Balance Breaker." 

She didn't mind. 

"Don't mention it, however, I must receive offerings as your Patron?" 

He raised an eye brow. 

"What do you want?" 

She smiled as if it wasn't hard. 

"Sweets, and lots of them. Oh, and Booze. You can't go wrong with sweets and alcohol." 

She placed her hands on her hips and pushed her rather large chest forward with pride. He started to laugh which echoed around which made her frown. 

"Hey, this is serious. Your very beautiful Patron demands sweets and alcohol." 

He held his stomach as it was starting to hurt laughing. 

"HAHAHHAAHAHAA, SURE! You will get your offerings." 

When he finally stopped laughing he was still chuckling. 

"I think I am going to like you a lot. Well then, let's rejoin my group. They don't need to know everything, just the important parts." 

She nodded.

"Fine with me. I can keep secrets." 

She then teleported them back to the rest of Jack's group. This had been supposed to be a sparing match between Jack and Baldur, just that Jack ended up using his new move for the first time. 

When the two reappeared, the girls rushed over to him. Ophis had taken him away and now she brought him back suddenly. Ophis just smiled as she looked at the four girls. 

"I didn't steal your boyfriend girls, I was just curious how he got so strong. When he got that strong, it drew my attention. You can have him back?" 

Rossweisse bowed before she thanked Ophis. 

"Thank you, Miss Ophis. I hope we didn't bother you too much." 

Ophis shook her head. 

"Don't worry about it, I have decided to stick around. I am now Jack's Patron as I am quite curious how strong he can get. Also, it seems it will be more fun." 

She walked past Rossweisse before she walked over to Moka. She leaned in and looked at the Vampire then at her Rosary. 

"Two souls that formed from one. Not just that, the second soul is a Dragon Tamer and a Vampire. Interesting." 

Moka smiled. 

"Nice to mee you, I am Moka Akashiya. Though, they call me Outer since I am out most of the time." 

From the Rosary, Inner Moka spoke. 

"And I am Inner since I am in the Rosary for the most part. Of course, we can switch at will." 

To show this off, Moka began to transform as she reverted to her original appearance. Long white hair, red eyes, larger bust and hips, and taller. Ophi was curious. 

"Fascinating. Nice to meet you." 

Inner nodded. 

"Likewise." 

Ophis than walked to Akeno. 

"A rather talented Fallen Angel. How are you doing?" 

Akeno smiled politely and also bowed.

"Well, Miss Ophis." 

Ophis patted her on the head before she glanced at Aya. 

"For a human, you are quite strong." 

Aya liked the sound of that. 

"Thanks." 

Ophis then walked back to Jack as she had ideas. As a Dragon God, she could bless nearly as many people as she wanted and if she was going to stick around Jack, she might as well spend the time expanding her influence. 

Of course, she didn't ignore Baldur. She glanced at the Norse God briefly. 

"You look well." 

Baldur grinned. 

"Sure am." 

She looked up at Jack who was going to make her living situation more interesting. 

"Seems, life won't be boring around you." 

Jack nodded. 

"You have no idea." 

(So which Dark Elf is better, Olgia Discordia or Chloe from Kuroinu) , Evelyn Celebrian or Delva Celebrian from Youkoso, Sukebe Elf. Or The Dark Elf from Plus Sized Elf. Those or any other famous Anime/Hentai elves. Since in Total Warhammer, the Druki(Dark Elves) are Slavers, attacking a Slave Auction to get some Dark Elves seems fair.)
